  long car trip with baby more less Question I have an 8 month old daughter We are planning two trips in the near future both about 5 hour drives I am worried about a few things 1) My daughter is now "on the move" and doesn't like to be held back from doing so Even if we stopped to let her move around 5 hours is a long time in the car 2) She often sleeps in the car I'm afraid she will sleep most of the way there and back and majorly mess up her sleep schedule Any advice would be SO greatly appreciated Thanks

  Travel during the first trimester more less Question Hello I'm 9 weeks pregnant and would like to know if it is safe to fly to San Diego for less than 2 hrs each trip   Please let me know    I fly every 2 or 3 months to work in San Diego   Thanks Noma

  Airplanes more less Question I am thinking about taking m baby from where I live in Kansas to NY to visit family for Thanksgiving I went to travel sites to start booking my ticket and it asked me if I want my baby on my lap or a seat   Which is best   Do I need to pay for my infant if I choose the seat   I haven't been in an airplane in a long time    My baby will be 6 mos by then   Thank you Sarah

  crusing with a toddler and a preschooler!!! more less Question Hi JeanneAgainst my better judgment I have agreed to go on a cruise (Princess line) with my 2 young children (ages 1 1/2 and 3) What will I do to survive I am used to going to a resort and hanging out at the beach all day where my kids can play in the sand next to me This is so different and I'm nervous Also there are 4 full days of "at sea" travel Thanks for your input

  Traveling more less Question Is it safe to travel at 32 weeks We are going 10 hours away at the end of july and i'm due at the end of Sept We are going to be driving I heard that it wouldn't be due to blood clots What do you think

  hawaii trip more less Question We are taking a trip to Hawaii with our 7 month old I have two concerns the airplane ride and the time change Do you have any advice for the 5 hour flight Also there is a 3 hour time difference I'm afraid this is going to mess up her schedule and I will be up with her in the middle of the night (because she'll think it's morning ) Any advice would be greatly appreciated

  turnpike travel more less Question Dear travel expert We spent 325 miles on the NJ and PA turnpikes this weekend listening to Ernie and Elmo singing " beep beep beep " It got a little BORING for baby to be in the carseat so much and tiring for me as the back seat puppeteer and one woman show Could you suggest the best rest stops for kids where the food is mildly healthful where there are playgrounds grassy knolls fun kiosks Thanks travel expert :ernie:

  Getting help with the kids while traveling more less Question Jeanne I am taking a family trip to the beach in a couple of weeks I am going to a wedding and I am wondering if you have some tips on finding help with the kids while traveling Maybe a nanny service or something the hotel might offer Your advice is greatly appreciated
