my gp has let me know that I have pityriasis in a mild form. I am also 15 weeks pregnant. Do you know whether this will affect my pregnancy. I am not receiving any treatment as I am not itchy but am using saline for an irritated eye. |

Pityriasis, though the cause is unproven ,is not a sign of any type of internal disease. This skin disease should not have any effect on your pregnancy. Itching can be a side effect, so avoid over heating such as hot baths and strenuous activ.... Read More  |
