  scars more less Question Hi My daughter caught chicken pox from her little brother when she was 18 Now she has small scars from some of the poxs on her shoulders is there anything she can use to get rid of them Right now they are about the size of a dime and slightly raised above the skin She’s tried some generic scar removal cream from the pharmacy but that didn’t do anything What should she do

  atopic dermitis more less Question hi doctor my baby is 6 months and 2 weeks now and for the last 2 3 months he's got atopic dermititis i m using johnsons petroleum jelly for him kindly suggest what should i do my son is on total breast feed but now neither my feed is suffient for him nor my body is producing sufficient milk kindly suggest me if i can give him powdered milk and will it not aggravate his allergy thanks charu bhasin

  pityriasis more less Question my gp has let me know that I have pityriasis in a mild form I am also 15 weeks pregnant Do you know whether this will affect my pregnancy I am not receiving any treatment as I am not itchy but am using saline for an irritated eye

  eczema with babies more less Question My 1 yr old  daughter has had eczema since she was was 7 months old and she scratches really bad until it bleeds and she also scratches her head to the point she has blister with puss   It seems like she only gets very irratated  when she crys or when it is bedtime and she can hardly sleep through the night it's very frustrating I have taken her to see a skin doctor and he gives her all different kinds of creams and ointment and even liquids but it doesn't seems to be getting any better can you please tell me what you think I should do

  Rashes more less Question Hi I am wondering about a rash I have growing all over my body  I am 25 weeks pregnant and I cannot find a solution to this problem I have gone to see my baby doctor but they are not recommending anything more than Aveeno lotion and baths but that is not helping at all I can't sleep at night and for that reason I am very tired thoughout the day My mother seems to think it comes from the heaters since I'm in Connecticut and it's freezing outside But my doctor says heat rashes will only itch my rash burn under my skin I have tried to see a demotologist but because I am so far into my pregnancy most doctors won't see me What should I do

  white spots more less Question Hello I am 25 weeks along with my fourth child When I was 20 weeks along I noticed that I started getting white circles on my arms like I am losing pigmetation When I talked with my doctor about it he asked if they itched they dont He says its part of the pregnacy well needless to say that doesnt help me any They are gettin worse not itchy yet But they are on the upper half of my body I was hoping you could give me the answers the doctor wont

  Hydradenitis Suppurativa more less Question I have a rare skin disease called hydradenitis suppurativa I had our perfect daughter 4 years ago and I remember the breakouts like my entire body was swelling and how miserable I was No big surprise I didn't want any more children But now I'm 18 weeks prego with our second and last baby Accident yes mistake never The point is that this disease is ruining my life and my pregnancy its so much worse this time The boils on my body are swelling up and staying that way which has never happened before The doctors here don't really seem to know what to do for me My OB talked with a dermatologist and they put me on a one week antibiotic but it hasn't really helped at all Please help me and if there's anything I can do to even ease the pain I would be so grateful

  dark midline mark more less Question Eversince i got pregnant i developed this line in my tumy right in the middle and i also developed some stratch marks I just had the baby and my stratch marks are fading away but the dark line is getting darker around the belly button I used a lot of vit c to keep the skin moist now i notice some hair as well i never had those before Is there anything i can do to eleminate the dark line and the hair

  bed bugs- more less Question My grandson has bites all over his ankles They appear after he gets up in the morning or from a nap They just moved into a house that was empty for many years They have washed his sheets many times in hot water The bites are itchy They are very small and close together What do bed bug bites look like They haven't seen any bugs or spiders so they have no idea what it is Help

  Oily skin is now very dry more less Question I just had my baby two almost three weeks ago and on top of adjusting to everything else my skin has really dried out It started at the hospital when something they gave me during my c section made me itch alot especilly on my face Now my stomach especially where my lil one was is very dry and my face is dring out as well My skin dried out a little during pregnancy but I thought it was more due to my schooling ( i was in culinary school) but it wasnt this bad What would you recommend as a lotion

  is it safe to use a licorice facial based cream during pregnancy more less Question hi i am almost 5 months pregnant and currently battling acne breakouts i came accross this cream that's supposed to help acne and clear up acne scars it has licorice and fruit acids i want to know if this is safe to use during pregnancy this is the only one i came accross that seems to be safe to use but i just want to be sure i am currently using topical erythromycin but i dont use it everynight because i am scared even though it is said to be safe to use these are the ingredients of the cream: Licochalcone and Glabridin from Licorice extract Fruit Acid from Sugar Cane extract Citrus extract and Apple extract Also contains: Water Propylene Glycol Glyceryl Stearate Cetyl Alcohol Trimethylpentanediol/Adipic Acid Copolymer Squalane Triethanolamine Ceteareth and Stearyl Alcohol Cetearyl Octanoate Isocetyl Alcohol Methyl Paraben and Propyl Paraben

  ACNE more less Question http://www fotka pl/profil/sukencja/ z 5a28c1d3b9fa6ced0880d4d0acd55983 I am wrriting to you because I am despret I am batteling acne since I came to USA witch was 5 years ago Back in nPoland I had almost perfect skin and when I came here it's started to break out and now it's really really bad I tried EVERYTHING every acne medication and cosmetic there is over the counter I went to dermatologist and tried antibiotics and special RX cream proactive natural medicine and other funy stuff NOTHING HELPED And then I got pregnant And belive it or not but my skin started to clear out But 2 months ago I give birth to wonderfull baby girl and my acne started to show again It is not as bad as it was but it is still bad And now I am in relationship and the acne is killing it I am very self conciouse I hate my face Maybe you have advice for me to help I will try to paste my photo that you will see what I am talking about My diet is not bad eaither I don't eat sweets fats etc I am on the diet acctualy trying to loose baby fat So I eat boiled chicken vegetables fruits and whole bread I would go to dermatologist again but I don't have money since the baby is taking everything :D I am waiting to get my period to start taking birth control pills with hope that they will help my acne I never took any pills but I am willing to try anything Please help if you can

  Skin impacted by Pregnancy more less Question Hi   Prior to being pregnant I had perfect skin   However during pregnancy I broke out  a little bit   The ob/gyn said that it would go away after I delivered the baby   However 8 5 mths later I noticed that the patch where I had the breakout has turned into a brown freckles (I have olive skin)   What can I do to get rid of this   I do not want to take antibiotics as I'm nursing   Thanks

  Teenage daughter more less Question My daughter has pretty bad acne we have tried everything we could find at the stores even tried Proactive she got some stuff from the doctor she put it on her face at night but it rubbed off I remember when my brother had acne in high school the doctor gave him this stuff in what looked like a bingo dabber it worked so well for him would you know what that stuff was

  skin problem more less Question I have used accutane for 1 year and later for 6 months but after I stopped using it the problem recurred I get  big flare up from the day of ovulation untill I get my period and this happens every month so no amount of skin care products or antibiotics have much effect and it makes me frustrated and sad Please help

  Stretched Skin more less Question I when I was pregnant with my son I got stretch marks and not just your normal stretch marks I have them from right under my breasts to my pelvic area and across my stomach too My son weighed 11 5lbs when he was born and my skin just sags now Is there anything I can do that is non surgical to help my poor abdominal skin

  how to prevent wrinkles more less Question I am approaching my 30th birthday in 2 months and I just noticed the other week that I am developing fine lines across my forehead I didn't expect dramatic skin changes to happen so soon Is this much earlier than usual What can I do to prevent aging at this point As a child I spent my summers outdoors and was always very suntanned I guess I will be paying for that now Any tips would be greatly appreciated Thanks

  Help more less Question Hi     Am single and have pco for the past 5years Have been on contraceptives just to reduce acne which recurs every month starting at ovulation and ends when I get my period But this happens every month and no matter how much of antibiotics I take I have not got any proper solution My periods are regular lasting for 3 4 days on a 28 day cycle Please advise as my skin has a lot of scars Acne only arises on my T zone
