Baby Sign Language

Moms have been reading babies signs for years, they know the difference between a “I’m hungry” cry and a “I need changing” cry. Recently baby sign language has become a very popular method for parents to communicate with their babies before they learn how to speak. We visit The Frazer Center in Atlanta, Georgia and meet the teachers, parents and children who are benefiting from teaching their children American Sign Language.

Vaccinations

Is vaccinating your child the right thing to do? How many vaccinations should he receive at once? Is there any truth to vaccinations and autism being linked? If you’re relying on your pediatrician to answer these questions, you may be surprised to learn he may not have all the facts. Watch this candid discussion on the risks and benefits of vaccinating children featuring Dr. Bob Sears, pediatrician and author of “The Vaccine Book;” Nancy Massotto, Executive Director and Founder of Holistic Moms Network; Neil Miller, author of Vaccine Safety Manual and director of Think Twice Global Vaccine Institute, and hear real mom Charity Albers story.

Circumcision

Eighty percent of all male babies born in the United States are circumcised for non-religious reasons. Recently, this practice has come under scrutiny from both doctors and parents as they investigate whether there are sound medical reasons for circumcision or whether it’s purely a social stigma. Meet Dr. Ronald Goldman author of “Circumcision The Hidden Trauma” and Mohel Philip Sherman, plus hear from a young family as they discuss their decision.
