decreased libido more less Question I have been married for 18 years The last 5 years I have been struggling with perimenopause I am on hormones to regulate menstration and an antidepressant to control mood swings My husband who is 5 years younger than me continues to have a healthy sex drive while I have absolutely no sex drive whatsoever My husband thinks I don't love him because I amnot "intimate" or affectionate toward him This is far from the truth yet I can understand why he feels this way Is there any way to restore my sexual desire for him I know how unfair this is to him but I am sooooo tired What makes me the most sad about this is that he judges our love on the amount of intercourse we have That is not the basis of our love for each other pah712 0 686 1/24/07

Very Confused more less Question Angela I am looking for a little bit of advice I am 30 years old and have been mostly happily married for the last 10 years during that time I have given birth to 3 beautiful children And besided my house being caous I live a pretty good life with one exception the Sex life And I think it is time to figure it out When I was 10 years old I was sexually molested for 3 years by a family friend after speakin gout I recieved group counseling but nothing further Sex has always been painful for me prior to my first child and then after the birth of my 1st child it seemed as if the Dr messed something up (during birth he made an incision to make me bigger it went just shy of hole to hole)when sewing up the following months I told him things were very painful of which he denied any wrong doing eventually he sent me to a physical therapist (yes I actually went once a week) to have my hole stretched and do excersices Eventually I went to another Dr who stated I looked like I was 80 down there We worked on cearing all of that up and though sex is still painful it is not as bad As for the sex I am never in the mood and in my life all we be great if it didn't exist I am also not a very affectionate person I love to cuddle with my husband but I don't like to be naked I don't like fondeling and kissing I like to keep to a minimum very seldom do I climax and if I do I normally stop it(for some reason I feel like I need to stop it) I love my husband very much and he continually keeps telling me this is something I should enjoy my friends conquer with him The other night my husband and I were lucky enough to get an evening alone we had sex my husband attempted to give me an orgasim when again I stopped it he looked at me so sincerely and said why do you do that I just want you to enjoy it It has really make me think why can't I enjoy it and what is going on in my head The only part of tension in our marriage is surrounded by sex (husband want's it and I don't) solving this problem would be huge for our relationship Any advice Thanks Jenny
