I have a son who is 7years old and will be 8 on december 18th He has several food allergies (nuts peanuts soy and shellfish along with typical seasonal stuff) that we have known about since he was one He also has asthma for wich he takes singulair and pulmicort and albuterol (as needed) He has never had a dry night Not only is he not dry but he urinates so much that it leaks out of his pull up almost every night leaving a large puddle on the matress It doesn't even wake him up We just deal with it and try not to make an issue of it because I know that he cannot help it but it is really frustrating and embarrassing for him especially when he sees his little sister being able to stay dry If you have any advice I would appreciate it We have talked to the pediatrician and they gave us a prescription but it didn't help at all

Hi Christine several months ago I was writting in asking u if I should have another baby and you told be about not telling the futher but that I was being asked to just relax (basically as best I can remember) not your exact words long story short I have found myself pregnant and I am happy I didn't have to make that decision I would love to know (for so many reasons) if this baby I'm carrying is a boy or a girl Whoever it is I really hope it decides to stay with me and join my family :)

The last 2 years my son has been poked and prodded so much with no reason for his symptoms or diagnosis He had RSV at 4 months and since then has been a medical mystery Frequent colds (no so abnormal but he has had bouts of bronchitis) frequent soft/diarrhea type bowl movements low immune system (t cells IgG IgA and WBC) and inability to create antibodies with normal round of shots (2 vaccinations) Now that he has been walking and in PT and OT therapy without major improvement he was fitted for orthodics to help with Ataxia and was seen by a neurologist who did new blood work on him His Alpha fetoprotein came back high and with consultation with his immunologist he is currently being tested for Ataxia Telangiectasia and we now are waiting 12 weeks for his blood work to come back from John Hopkins

My son is such a happy little boy constantly the center of attention and is so smart Though not sure if diet something benign he will out grow or something serious I feel in my heart that something he is not 100 healthy dispite our pediatrician until the latest blood work came back saying he would out grow all this Can you shed any light on something we may be missing overlooking or if this is all benign I am in such pain seeing my little boy go through so much

I had a C section 31/2 months ago Six months ago my doctor told me that I have a fibroid tumor then the day on my child birth they found another one; so I have two fibroid tumor now On my 6th month pregnancy my baby turned sideways (TRANSVERSE) my stomach shape was really weird I'm only 5ft tall I gained about 30 lbs for the whole pregnancy I need to lose at least 30lbs right now but it seem like I kept gaining By the way I'm breastfeeding every 3 hrs I ate healthy foods I exercise as well for 1hr [tread climber wii fit gardening & walking outside not including house works I'm not working though My problem is I still look 5 months pregnant Is it because of my fibroid Or because of the baby being transverse Do I need to see my OBGYN for follow up Please help

Hi Christine My last pregnancy was a partial molar I need to be tested every month for cancer for the next six months before we try to have another baby Because this type of cancer spreads fast I just wanted to check with you to see if you sensed any cancer cells in my body My doctor tells me I have nothing to worry about When I had the DNR I believe my doctor got all of the questionable cancer tissue out of my uterus but was wondering if it could have spread elsewhere which would be undetectable in the hormone test I am doing every month THANK YOU

Hi first of all let me say that this is like my 3rd question or so for you in the last 6 months I don't want to "over stay my welcome" sort of thing however I am so distressed lossing sleep and so forth I thought I'd ask anyway I am a hairstylist for 12 years now and in Oct some things happened that forced me to leave my salon and start working from my home salon which is 15 min away from my old salon Needless to say I lost some clients I am having such a hard time building my cliental back up I feel like I am doing everything that I can I can't help but wonder is this the universe's way of telling me that I suck and should find something else to do and give up hair I really don't want to give up but I swear sometimes it seems that everything is against me and that I am growing tired of the struggle I don't know what to do and if I am fighing a lossing battle

Well u asked me what my daughter eats well she eats grown up food she drinks apple juice and enfimil lipil w/ iron ummm like lunch meat turkey usually friuts (strawberries mango pears and watermelon) applesauce fruit puffs (gerber) ummm I'm honestly not sure what it could be I mean it seems like she frustrated when she does the pulling hair out thing And I have noticed that lately she has these little pimple like bumps on her arm it started out as just one now its like 10 or 12 I was thinking a bite or something not a reaction to food hope this helps

Hello Christine once again I need your help I want to say I really appreciate everything that you do you go out of your way to help people like myself and I wanted to thank you :) I wanted to ask if you could help with my brother Joe He is living with my mother right now because he wrote a suicide letter and my grandma found and she called the police & they took him to get help Well after he got out the gave him medicine and told him that he suffers from depression and that he's a scitz (I have no idea how to spell that) So my mother opened her home up got him a job and now he's right back on the same path stealing from her (her medication & money) He's always had a problem with drugs also because I let him move in with me and he stole everything I had just to get his fix I was wondering if you might help me understand what's he going through because he won't talk to me I mean any advice would be great to help my mother understand and help guide her thank you so much again have a blessed day

I recently began treating my daughter (who is high functioning on the Autistic Spectrum) with alternative/holistic practices She just turned 8 (today ) and she has responded well to treatement I am using vitamins (B6 Zinc Cod Liver Oil Vitamin C D and a good Multi) We have started B12 shots We also went thru a round of anti yeast medicine and are currently following the DAN diet for autism She also gets a dose of probiotics daily She tested positive for sensitivities to wheat/dairy My question to you is there anything else I can do to benefit her and also is it a true allergy she has to wheat/milk

Thanks so much for your info We are currently having a rough time with my son He ate a raspberry bar on Sat which was wheat free thought it was gluten free but was not and he broke out in welts on a spot on his arm Starting doing alot of pooping on Sunday and coughing Sunday night and yesterday after letting him have some homemade popcorn the coughing got really bad So he was up in the night couging pooping and now finally resting after we gave him grapefruit juice with aloe vera chia seeds and rubbed olive oil and ecupalytus oil on his chest/back He is hot red in face and says his tummy aches

So I went out and purchased the chlorophyll for us and with limited funds just purchased the Bach mimulus to start with and will purchase the others online from that website you mentioned I think I may have mentioned that I stumbled upon a Dr Fosters website when I was researching something for someone on the HMN loop and decided to post a question to her about me and my son Well she just replied and I wanted to run a few things by you to see what you thought about them She recommended some type of adrenal support immune valor probiotics and an Essential Fatty acid

You mentioned the probiotics also and it is something I have struggled with for his entire life We did it for months on end when he was young and later had his stool tested and it showed no good bacteria so it was disappointing and it made me question the probiotics in general and the source I have some in my refrig now HLC high potency powder (pharmax) that is suppose to be dairy free I know I have alot of anxiety about giving him something that could be possibly making matters worse but plan to try it again and see how it goes

The green poop is not something that was on going We recenlty let him have a piece of ham (which he never had) since he had tested not allergic to it by a naturopath using muscle testing So we thought we would let him try a piece and will it seem to go down with no problems later he had about 3 green poops Also noticed it when we gave him a few dairy free chocolate chips that they seem to not get digested and saw some green in poop When he eats tomato soup his entire poop is red His poop usually isn't brown or not very much Okay not sure why I feel a need to clarify all this I guess I am feeling a little overwhelmed by all the suggestions and actually all the info that is available to me in books internet etc that it is all too much everyone has their own take on things and it seems as if I am facing which road to take I think I have followed the food the supplements so long that I want to approach it more from an energetic perspective and will go will your suggestions with the flower essences and the couple of additons to his diet which we have done in past (aloe and chlorophyll) Another one of those things that seem to work great was the aloe for me and him especially being regular But then I read with the GAPS diet that they said aloe was "contains mucilaginous polysaccharides as well as increasing the release of tumor necrosis factor which is associated with IBD inflammation and increased immune stimulation"
So once again I say okay is what I am doing helping or hurting his progress

Okay dear Christine I know you have given me what came up for you with what I wrote earlier and I have to either trust it or not so I guess I have answered my own questions/thoughts Boy this mothering thing is some tough job Aiden just got up and went to bathroom and seems to be getting over the worse of his symptoms I think the ham experiment just really wiped him out depleted his resources and we have to build him back up It just seems to be 3 steps forward 2 steps backward Oh how I would love a great big leap forward Blessings wandergirl

My son came into the world with some breathing difficulties and under very stressful conditions for himself and me I had undigested food in stools with my first bowel movement after hospital and started having issues within 3 months of giving birth (allergies joint pain loss of weight etc ) My son reacted badly to Hep B shot got his first patch of eczema in the center of his chest and would later cover entire body We also saw some head swelling on Right side of head digestive issues (bloating constipation diarrhea etc ) I took him off my breast at 8 months aburptly because it became too much for me to breastfeed and see him scratcing and itching each time he was on my breast That became a huge challenge to what to feed him and it was a struggle for years He lost alot of weight but we got through it He now sleeps through the night which he didn't used to do He is sleeping on a mattress on the floor next to us because he just seem to need to be close to us and he wasn't sleeping well in his own room

The challenges we see now are some reactions to foods/environment which usually present themselves in the face on one side one eye sometimes cold sores There is one swollen lymph node on back of head that has been there almost always His poop is many times green but he has daily bowel movements usually 1 many times 2 He is experiencing a big adjustment with starting to school He says it is boring wants to stay home and do nothing and cries when we get close to school But once there does fine I tend to see him wanting to do things and then when actually about to do it or doing it change his mind For example we were in FL and they had a big cord and kids could bounce up and down like being attached to rubber band He saw them doing it said I want to do that so we said okay He got strapped in and as soon as the guy starting to bounce him he starting looking serious and scared And I just asked if he wanted to get off and he said yes and we let him and made no big deal about it I just sense he wants to do things but then gets hesitant and backs out

As I am writing this I am thinking how me and his Dad don't have a real zest for life We are letting ourselves get worn down by the different things that have come about since Aiden's birth and kind of used all our issues for things we need to change about ourselves on him and his health I have been really trying to let my new found hope and joy come into our life and see positive changes in myself and Aiden

Hi i had already asked about having another child some day and if you thought last month might have been my month and you had said that things looked quiet at that time Well it's a new month and I am a week past ovulation and took about 7 early pregnancy tests and they all have faint lines that are getting darker each day I have never had a false positive and i know that it isn't an evaporation line but what I was wondering is if I really am and I know you can't tell me the future etc but I want to get medical treatment asap as with my past history of repeated miscarriages Any help would be so great Thank you
