Stomach Flu more less Question My 11 month old is on day 7 of the stomach flu He tolerates up to 4 5 ozs of Pedialyte at a time & good portion sizes of BRAT diet fine But every time we give him formula or yogurt he vomits Sometimes immediately & sometimes he's real fussy & then a couple of hours later he'll thrw up & you can see he has not digested anything When I take him off the dairy he's fine In the past we've suspected a milk allergy or intolerence but his usual symptoms (fussiness back arching gas eczema) were never immediate & were fairly mild I'm wondering if there could be a connection or if this is just a flu side effect and if a side effect what is normal lead time for returning to normal Thanks Angela

rash on legs more less Question I noticed last night that my daughter who just turned 2 years had small pink slightly raised lesions on her feet and legs They were less than 1/2 cm round like someone dotted her with a magic marker   She didn't have any itching or discomfort related to them She had had some pimply like lesions on her butt earlier in the day Could this be an allergic reaction to food or a detergent We haven't used any new detergents and she hasn't had any new foods lately How long after she has eaten a food would it take for her to have a reaction Could it be something else other than an allergic reaction We are confused as to what it is Thanks for any information you have

diaper issues with 7 month old more less Question hey there   Got a new question for you   My daughter is about to be 7 months old and has been on rice cereal and various baby food for over a month   About 10 days ago I tried some oatmeal with her and she had a couple of bad messy diapers   So obviously I didn't give her the oatmeal again   Well the diapers have not gotten any better since then and it has been 10 11 days   She has about 4 5 runny poopy diapers a day not blowouts but definately runnier than normal    I have kept her diet the same with rice cereal and food that I know she can tolerate   I'm reluctant to start any thing new until this clears up   When should I worry   She acts normal and has no other symptoms (no fever cold etc)   She continues to have wet diapers so I'm not worried that she is dehydrated   Do you think this could be teething   Her older brother got his first tooth at 7 months old   The only other change I could think of is that I started giving her organic rice cereal vs the non organic type about this same time   Any advice you can give I would appreciate   Thanks

sudden change in nightime sleep more less Question Hi there   My 6 month old daughter has been sleeping throught the night consistently since she was 8 weeks old   As this is my second child I know I am so lucky   Her nighttime schedule has been bedtime at 8:30 sleep all night and then wake up between 7:30 8:00 a m   She takes two good naps a day with a very occaisional third catnap later in the day depending on how the other naps have gone   She probably does the third capnap once a week I would say   Anyway for the past 7 nights in a row she has been waking up at 5:30 a m   She wakes up and just talks away (very loudly) in her pitch black room   Not knowing what to do I started just to leave her alone she isn't crying but eventually she ends up fussing and then crying   I've done various things put the pacifier in change diaper rock her (I know I was desperate )   I really don't think that she is hungry she drinks plenty of formula and gets cereal during the day   We just had her 6 month check up and she is in the 95 range in weight and height   Plus she always eventually goes back to sleep until normal time at that time she has her morning bottle and hardly ever drinks the whole 8 ounces   She doesn't have any teeth yet so I guess it could be teething   She has also been mastering some skills sitting up and rolling over   I also read that a lovie might help   I need a plan so I can be consistent Any idea to what could be going on and what I should do Thanks Brooke
