Hello - My husband and I have been ttc since December. I have been using the First Response ovulation predictor, which shows that I am not ovulating regularly - sometimes it will skip one month, sometimes two. I have very regular periods - every 24 days. I am 39, and have three children, the youngest is 20 months old. I went yesterday to talk to the doctor about this. They want to start with bloodwork to check progesterone levels and thyroid function. After that, she mentioned taking an endometrial sample. I wonder if you could tell me a little about that, and also at what point could Clomid be considered. Thank you! |

An endometrial sample is a sample of the lining of the uterus. This is done in the office. A speculum is inserted like when you have a PAP smear done.
