categorizing me as AUB   I started bleeding extremely heavy and I passed a clot that was a little bigger than the size of a quarter(two nights before my scheduled D&C)   The clot was hard thick  clear on the outside but a whitish grey on the inside   It was also attached to a very dark purple blood clot   I then passed what seemed to be a lot clots and tissue over the next 24 hours   I was bleeding through a super tampon about every 45 min to an hour   I called my Dr to inform her of this which was the day before my scheduled D&C and she stated over the phone that I should have an ultrasound   When I went into the hospital in the morning for the D&C she did a blood test for BHCG and the urine preg test was negitive   D&C was completed but no utrasound was done   Two weeks after the procedure  my Dr said everything was fine and I asked her for a copy of my report but she said I didn't need it because everything was okay   My question is could this have been a miscarriage   Could a urine test be negitive so quickly after a miscarriage   I don't understand why she didn't go over my blood work with me and gave me absolutely no explanation to what had happened to me   Should I ask again for a copy of my blood work eventhough she didn't want to give it to me the first time I asked   I'm just really confused because I had never ever experienced clots or passing tissue before   The Dr did ask if I saved the really large clot but I hadn't   I didn't know what to do I just flushed it   Answer 4 616 7/23/07 9:24 pm   Amnio Question I might have to do an amnio I heard that if a woman has had bleeding or other complications in her pregnnacy she has a higher chance of miscarrying I have not had any bleeding at all Do you think we (the baby and I) will be okay  I might be carrying  a downs syndrome baby I am on a rollercoaster of emotions I have already had 2 miscarriages and this is an ivf baby Answer Lisa777 1 542 7/24/07 5:32 pm   due date Question my dr says my due date is aug 4th but my last period was in oct but they are saying that it wasnt until nov 10th how can this be when i didnt have a period in Nov so whn should i be due Answer MBELL 29 1 530 7/23/07 7:38 pm Finally pregnant, but low progesterone Question I'm 39 and have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years the last 9 months working with a reproductive specialty center Following a blood test 4 days ago I was told I had a very weak pregnancy and that I may be miscarrying The issue was low progesterone & I was immediately started on progesterone suppositories for retesting I'm not sure if I should be excited about what is going on or waiting for a miscarriage What should I be thinking My last LMP was 6/19 I underwent IUI (AIH) on 7/5 I found out I was pregnant on 7/19 thru blood test hCG was 10 6 progesterone 3 7 This is when I was told things were not good and started supposititories Retested blood on 7/21 and hCG rose to 22 3 and progesterone to 9 3 The doctor asked that I double up on the twice a day suppositiories I go back on 7/23 for blood tests and to learn how to give myself progesteron injections I prepared myself for a miscarriage because this was "not a viable" pregnancy I'm acting like I'm pregnant but have low expectations based on the original test What's happening Answer klfedy 3 770 7/22/07 12:16 pm   concerns Question Hi Cathy i am 23 weeks pregnant and am having a hard time ive had the bleeding noses which i have been told can be normal during pregnancy im starting to feel very uncomfortable with my lower back and my tummy feels like it is tightening sometimes is this normal   I just had the flu and last week was in hospital with what they thought was food poisoning (but could be side effect of the flu) could this harm by baby with any birth defects when i was in hospital my bloods and everything was norma so im not worried there i just seem to be getting everything in the text book Answer kelm 1 481 7/26/07 1:46 am   Spotting four months after m/c?
