shots of insulin last week to control my sugar levels however when I went for my checkup yesterday I was told that each dose would be upped from 5 to 8 units as well I would be doing 4 shots instead of 2 I asked the diabetic dr if all this insulin would have any effect on the baby and she said that it wouldn't hurt the baby but infact the baby will feel a whole lot better now that I am on the insulin I am concerned about this comment it seems to me that the baby was in some sort of pain or distress before I was placed on the insulin Perhaps you can clarify this comment for me I hope that heartbeat and that everything was fine I have a couple of questions 1 We got pregnant on our honeymoon (out first time trying) and we drank a ton of alcohol and I drank about 3 a day after our honeymoon for about a week and a half before I found out that I was pregnant I drank about 3 beers pretty much everyday for about a year Could this have caused my miscarriage 2 For about 10 years I have struggled with bulima We got married on March 31st of this year and I wanted to lose weight and pretty much only ate salad everyday at night and sometimes made myself sick Could this have affected my pregnancy 3 After my u/s my husband and I had sex and then I had a white discharge could that have been an infection and caused my miscarriage 4 We made dinner on a charchol grill and I was sitting by the grill breathing in the fumes We decided we would wait two cycles before trying again I had a D&C on May 19th and on June 11 I had my first cycle then counted 28 days from there at should have started my 2nd cycle around July 8th but on the 12th I started to just spot brown and now it's going on day 2 of only spotting brown We would like to try after this cycle I am taking prenatal vitamins that the doctor prescribe to me and eating healthy now 3 meals a day with fruits and veggies I have pretty much quit drinking all together except for maybe 2 drinks a week which is
