1 333 1/27/08 2:58 am   Bad cold and medicines Question Hi I am 20 weeks pregnant (we had our anatomy ultrasound and the baby looks healthy through and through and it is a girl )  My 21 month old son has a double ear infection and a throat infection I now have a BAD cold that i believe I caught from him   I saw my OBGYN today for my 20 week appt and I mentioned not feeling well to her She did not look at my throat ears etc   But she did tell me I can take Robutussin DM and Benadryl to help relieve my symptoms   (One thing to remember with me is the past blood pressure issues I had in my first tirmester I have had no blood pressure problems in my second trimester but we are being very careful)   I did research on line about the two medicines she reccommended and I found that there is not enough info available about these meds and how they impact the fetus   I wondered your opinion and if you had any other reccommendations I think I will refrain from taking the meds for now I am really
