Question Hi My question is regarding the need for labor induction at 39 weeks  As a reminder I am pregnant with my second child I am 30 weeks along In the VERY beginning of my pregnancy I had high blood pressure for some reason Thankfully I have not had that problem in many weeks (I never took medication I only watched my diet a little did some yoga took hypnobirthing etc) and i am told my blood pressure is "perfect"   I am having no problems with the pregnancy my weight gain the baby's heart beat my sugar etc are all "perfect" I am measuring 3 cm bigger though   Starting week 32  I will still be going in twice a week and having a weekly non stress test Then I was told today that I will be induced at 39 weeks regardless of what my blood pressure is I thought I was told at the beginning that I will only be induced if there are blood pressure problems   What are your thoughts I really do not wish to be induced if it is not absolutely necessary I prefer to let my baby be born when she is ready Also I took hypnobirthing classes and learned that being induced brings the contractions on stronger and harder so it is more challenging to go natural Any thoughts or input you have would be greatly appreciated Thank you Answer Rizzo19 3 453 4/4/08 1:53 am   Please Help!
