pelvic pressure and pain

I have been having a lot of pelvic pressure like stretching and the sensation that I need to urinate, especially when I am standing or walking.  Is that normal?  I have also had a lot of cramping down low and tightening on the top of my stomach.  I didn't thin or dialate with my first child, but this one seems to be quite a bit larger and am wondering if my body could be doing what it is supposed to this time.
