3 lunch boxes to pack

Alma, do you have any strategies for prepping lunches every day without feeling overwhelmed--I also have to pack snacks too each day.  This autumn, I will be packing 3 lunches--but can not have the kids bring in peanut butter due to school regulations.  The schools will not heat things up, so I am  already fretting this and want to feel better organized to create healthier choices.  Help!

Hi windweaver.  Oh, the dreaded  school lunches!  I suggest  whole wheat tortilla wraps with lowfat cheese, turkey and some veggies if they will eat them.  Packing up hummus and carrots in small tupperwares for snacks, healthier carb snacks such as fruit, or healthy cheddar bunnies from Whole foods. My kids love cottage cheese so that can be sent in a tupp.... Read More signin
