Hair after baby

I need some advice about what to do with my hair now that I'm going to have my baby.

My hair is naturally curly and dark brown, before I got pregnant I dyed it a lighter brown and got highlights on the top half.. Now I have the new growth, also.  I want to know if I can save my hair (it's pretty damaged). Should I cut it short and dye it all dark brown & if so, do I need to use a filler before coloring? Or could I trim it and dye it all a light brown? If I dye it light brown/dark blonde can I just get one color and use it on my whole head ? Please help! any advice would be greatly appreciated..  And should I use a deep conditioner everyday? What is a good conditioner to use on damaged hair.

thanks for all your help!
