How do I know if I have overexerted myself. If I sweat does that mean I did too much. If my heartrate goes over 140????? |

Hi, Kim!
The old guidelines for exercising during pregnancy stated that a woman's heart rate shouldn't go above 140 bpm. But when you're pregnant, your heart rate starts off higher to begin with...so it doesn't take some women much to go above 140. The newer guidelines are looser and provide for the fact that women who have been exercising regularly prior to pregnancy are probably okay with continuing their routine. Sweating is okay!
