Before I conceived I was running about 3 miles daily. Pre-pregnant I was between 117lb.-119lb. (5'5 in height and 29 years old) I cut back exercising until a week ago because of nausea/light-headedness. I am now 12 weeks and beginning to feel better. I would really love to slowly start jogging again. Walking is great, too, but I don't sweat nearly as much nor feel like I got that great of a workout. In addition, the 3 miles would take less than 30 min. but walking it takes 45 min. to an hour. What would you recommend at this point? |

I would say that because you were jogging prior to pregnancy, that it's okay to start doing so again, as long as you're cautious and pay attention to your body and what it's telling you. Start back in gradually, either alter.... Read More  |
