Have you heard about the little girl from Slumdog Millionaire? Her father was trying to sell her for $300,000. Its so sad.... :( It makes me angry that he would want to get rid of her, but also makes me extremely sad because life is so bad for so many people. But....could times be so tough that you are willing to sell your daughter in order to help yourself and her??? It seems like a very tough/disturbing decision. It should remind us all that even though times are tough right now, we should be blessed with what we have....our families. What does everyone think? How can someone do this? |
