Dear Victoria
I starting trying to conceive in January 2008. I got pregnant in March, miscarried at 8 weeks, got pregnant in May and miscarried at 6 weeks, got pregnant in July and had a D&C at 10 weeks - the baby was Trisomy 16. I have not got pregnant since despite 3 rounds of fertility drugs. I am 39 and have had every blood test under the sun. My question is whether there may be internal scarring / damage resulting from the miscarriages / D&C which is preventing me from conceiving? I would be most grateful for any advice you may have. Have you been tested for blood clotting disorders? I know you said 'every test under the sun' but some obgyns miss testing for APA and other auto immune blood clotti.... Read More  |
