Question I went to an infertility specialist because we have been trying to concieve since June and I am not ovulating   I went through numerous blood tests ultrasound to count follicles and both are normal   I have also tried clomid for three months and that was not working either   My next step would be the injections   I was wondering if you have heard of anything that could cause this anovulatory   I know I must ovulate sometimes because I did get pregnant in March and miscarried in the beginning of May   My cycle is usually around 38 40 days   I have been taking ovulation predictors but they have turned of yet and I am on day 17 of my cycle   My last cycle was 40 days   Is there a day I should expect to ovulate   Also when I was on the clomid I had 40 day cycles but they drew my blood day 21 and was wondering if that was to early since I had such long cycles   I took clomid day 3 7   Just looking for answers if any and wondering if there is anything I can do   Thanks Answer caser 1 324 1/4/08 9:19 pm   Adderall, Wellbutrin during pregnancy???? Question Are you familar with effects of high levels or prolonged exposures to EMF I've had 3 m/c within 8 months Normal residental levels of EMFs are considered safe but what about for someone who works in the electrical field in and around electical equipment 40 hours per week Information is hard to find what little I've read is compeling but considered 'inconclusive' like info about harmful effects of Benzene and Asbestos used to be considered 'inconclusive' I wonder There are relatively few women in these positions Of the ones I know personally one of the female electricans has had 4 m/c another (32 yrs old) hasn't become preg after more than one year of trying another (43 yrs old) had a child 17 years ago(three months before coming here to work) but never had another child since this employment and one other co worker (55 yrs old) never could have children and also experienced breast cancer (which I also read to more prevalent among electrical workers)   I have ordered a monitor to test for EMF levels in my home and work areas Even if the monitor shows very high levels I'm not sure if I should act on that info without being able to find some conclusive research on the subject If there is an association between the EMF exposure and recurrent m/c I have no problem leaving my job But if it's random or unrelated I don't want to prematurely leave a very well paying job I've had for many years It seems that this is something most traditional doctors would not be informed about Early losses are so often considered 'unexplained' or assumed to be caused by chromosomal abnormalities My most recent loss was 3 weeks ago so still waiting for some test results on the placenta and to see if my OB will recommend more testing since this is my third So far I have been diagnosed with 'bad luck' and recommended to just try again I don't know if I should continue working or not before ttc again Any info or insight regarding info on EMFs (or recurrent m/c) will be tremendously appreciated   Answer TNT123 1 319 11/29/07 6:34 am   Charting temps Question Hi Victoria A quick history I miscarried Nov 2006 and have had lots of spotting and shorter cycles since Just wondering what your thoughts are on this A few months ago I went to a fertility clinic and when they did testing they said it looks like I ovulate on day 10 or 11 My chart that month had a peak temp on day 11 with wet CM But then my temps go back down for 5 days and then on day 17 they go higher than day 10 and remain higher for 8 days The last cycle day (day 25) it drops back down Since then I've monitored my CM more closely and each month the pattern seems to be about the same Is it possible to ovulate but not get a real temp shift until 5 or 6 days later Does it indicate a problem Also the last 2 months my breasts get very tender for 1 2 weeks before my period I've taken HPT but they've been negative What could the reasoning be Your help is much appreciated Answer KellyS 1 312 11/28/07 9:21 pm   ectopic pregnancy???
