Still confused please help   Question Sorry I'm still confused if my period was late this time possibly from stress & u replied with test 11 days after the 1st day well is my period going 2 return 2 normal should I start tesing counting from the first day of my normal period or from the first day of this months irregular period Thanx & sorry 4 my confusion temp tsaking doesn't wrk considering my husband needs some notice cuz wt his job he's not always available :translation: And what would u think is the best ovulation home test

trying to concieve Question my husband and I have 1 daughter 2 yrs and 2months old we have been TTC since Oct ག but i have been very irregular and every month I ma late by 1 week now up to 45 day cyle from 28 I have had lots of blood work and a ultrasound that read I have one ovary covered in many tiny folicles and my blood work has been read over the phone and my FSH is 4 9 and LH is 8 3 I have read that the ratio should be 1:1 and is LH is higheer it is a sign of PCO I can't get in to my DR for 1 month and would love your imput could I have PCO should i get into a specialist soon please help

I'm 34- am going to try to get pregant soon- no period for years.... Question Hi I'm 34 have been on birth control pills since age 16 and am going to try to get pregnant soon I have not had a period in about 8 years my Drs think because it gradually became less and less it is because i was on the pill so long I have 2 questions I am nervous because my husband agreed he wanted to have kids just over a year ago but he says he doesn't want to have a kid if he is 40 so that give me less than 2 years to get pregnant trying in about 4 months and I am nervous about this How long is average for your system to regulate after being on birth control pills for so long What is the average time for people age 34 to get pregant if they do ovulation checks etc thank you in advance for your response Very nervous under time pressure

Re Acupuncture "where are you" (my reply) Question I am located in Goldsboro N C I do not know if my doctor give herbs he may but he has not given any to me Maybe he will I have been to him twice I am 40 yrs old and he knows that I am trying to have a baby I had a miscarriage in January of this year I believe that he is the only one in my town I think there is one about an hour from my home in Raleigh N C but I do not know who is good or whom I can trust I do not wish to pursue IVF so I thought I would try acupuncture Thank you for any help

Irregular Period and trying to conceive Question I have been irregular for as long as I can remember and I have just been told that I have a blighted ovum We would like to conceive again quickly but am having a hard time with my cycle With this pregnancy my LMP began in mid Sept and I conceived mid Jan Is there anything I can take naturally to induce my cycle I have been checking my temp and mucus and that's what has worked so far Any help or advice would be most welcome Thanks in advance

trying 2 get preg. confused Question My husband and I judt began trying to conceive (for my very 1st pregnancy) this past month My period is pretty regular (usually occurring on the first thursday or friday of the month) and gave me false hope when it was 11 days late this month I was using ovulation tests to help predict & never got a full positive but a faint line & I planned more so with the mucus But I'm guessing the tests were neg because my period was so later thanusual Because it was so irregular this month how can I expect ovulation to occur :tissue:

wish i am pregnent Question i had a miscariage feb 6th i was only about 6 weeks along but it got me pretty upset my perios is now about a week late and i took a pregnency test five days ago but it came back negative i have some pregnency syptoms but i also think i might be imagining them whats going on with me

TTC after miscarriage Question I am 44 and am TTC I had a miscarriage 2/28 at 8 weeks I threatened miscarriage for a couple of days fetal heartbeat slow hcg levels low and not doubling then no heartbeat Took Cytotec worked well Am now very much anxious to conceive again asap I know my months are numbered at this point Any statistics or suggestions for a woman my age

Acupuncture Question I went to my acupuncture doctor last week and he said my body was too hot 1 I was just wondering if it was because I was on my monthly cycle Also I don't believe that he gives herbs He only mentioned that he did not prescribe medicine He also did not want me taking clomid He did not tell me not to take it but I could read between the lines of what he was saying about clomid 2 Is it a bad thing if he does not give herbs

Ovulation tests Question I have a simple question My husband and I have been trying for baby #2 for about 3 months now after being off of birth control for 4 months We've been unsuccessful at just trying on our own so this time we've decided to use a ClearBlue Easy Ovulation test My question is the tests says when your levels surge you ovulate within the next 24 36 hours SO should we try to have sex on the day my levels surge and the day after or should we wait until the next day and the day after that Also are there any ovulation predictor kits that work "better" than other ones

ovulation after medroxyprogesterone acetate Question Hi I'll try to keep this as simple as possible I miscarried naturally on November 16th at approx 5 6 wks I had regular cycles (approx 28 days) but heavy AF Dec Jan and Feb I was continuously spotting inbetween periods though up until my gyno gave me medroxyprogesterone acetate Rx for 10 days starting Feb 19th (approx day 5 of my cycle) Spotting stopped and I got my period on Mar 6th (6 days after the last pill) I just barely finished AF and I expected to ovulate around the 18th but I saw egg white CM last night and a little bit today am really exhasted and have had tender breasts the last couple days I can only assume that I'm ovulating or will be very soon so after waiting so long to try again by husband and I had sex last night even though the timing seems off We didn't want to miss an opportunity but are kind of worried that my system is still not back to normal and that I could miscarry again if I do get pregnant Any thoughts are much appreciated Tnx

ovulation ? Question I asked this on another thread in hopes of getting response The facts:Cycles usually 28 29 daysM/C in Nov D&C completed Nov 17Dec cycle began Dec 17Jan cycle began Jan 142 positive HPT Feb 13 & Feb 191 neg HPT Feb 22 confirmed chem preg The question: When would I be ovulating I thought it would be around this time but haven't really had any signs Temp has been around 97 7 and 98 0 No major jumps

Doc unconcerned Question I'm going to try and keep this as short as possible but it's been going on since Dec I found out I was pg Dec 3 06 on Dec 9 started spotting Doc did u/s and said I was m/c monitored hcg till Dec 27 when they were 2 Jan 14 took hpt again had levels drawn 1500 week later 17000 Jan 24 u/s showed only gest sac and levels were 75 000 48 hrs later 109 000 I had no symptoms of m/c I was going to doc 2 week for u/s The sac continued to grow but never could find anything in it I finally had a dnc when I was 9 5 wks Doc thought at first it might had been a molar but it wasn't He says I am a medical anommoly becuase if this was a new pg I got pg 5 days after my levels reached 0 (we didn't engage in relations after Jan 1) He isn't sure whether this was a new pg or the old one I have a 2yr from a previous relationship and this pg was unplanned We want another child someday I asked him if he would recommend genetic testing because I know my father has a chromosome mutation on 4 a balanced pericentric inversion He said he wouldn't recommend testing unless we have another problem becuase we would both have to have defected chromosomes for it to cause problems I just wanted to know what your thoughts were on all of this and if I need to seek another opinion about genitic testing We hadn't planned this child but we didn't want to lose it either I just want reassuance that we will be able to have another child

CD43 and signs Question Hi new here just thought i would ask this I have been TTC#2 for ever 2 years now My cylces are usually anywere from 26 33 days Today is CD43 I have taken 2 dollar store test 2 walmart store test and today i took a ept digital all said not pregnant I belive them but then i get pregnacy symtoms during the day like sore boobs quesy headaches and cravings my last period was 1 24 2007 I have been charting but not temping (my 3 year old hid my theremotorer LOL) anyway I had ewcm 3 times during this cycle and they were thougout the month Oh sorry this got really long anyway my question is could i stil be 6 weeks pregnant and none of the HPT show postive

Estrogen levels Question Hi I just recently found out that I have very low estrogen levels And I always have So low that my body seems to think that its going through menopause I'm only 20 So i'm really hopeing that i'm not going through menopause yet The problem is I was in such shock when my doctor told me that i couldnt think of any questions that i wanted to ask her Now that it has settled a bit i have a million I have never been too overly cautious about getting pregnant and i never have been pregnant I have never tried very hard to prevent pregnancy I really want to have kids one day though and I'm absolutely terrified that because of my estrogen levels i'm either not going to get pregnant or if i do it will cause alot of harm to the baby and make the pregnancy very difficult I've been stressing over this since i found out Please give me all the answers that you can I really dont know very much about my situation and really cant find anything on the internet about it Thanks

questions about tests Question Since I just recently just a miscarriage last week I was wondering what tests the dr will do to see why I end up miscarrying every time at 6 wks I'm getting the baby tested to see if there were chromosomal abnormalities If that was present what is the chance of another baby having those abnormalities I really want a 3rd childbut am a little scared to try again b/c of my 3 prior losses

Estrogen supplements Question Hi I've got 2 seperate issues going on First I had an ultrasound done on CD 19 3 days past ovulation and the ultrasound showed a very thin uterine lining like you'd expect during the first few days of a cycle My dr is prescribing estrogen to be taken for 30 days to build up my lining My question is how will this effect my cycle Will I still ovulate Can we continute trying to conceive during these 30 days Will I still have my next cycle as normal My next questions is that my luteal phase has been 7 days these past 2 cycles Could this be due to the problem I've listed above If not how can I lengthen my luteal phase Thanks so much

Temp Question I typically use an ovulation test kit but this month I decided to test my BBT as well On Feb 13th the ovulation kit showed two lines and my BBT was 97 4 then on the 14th the ovulation kit still showed two lines but my BBT dropped to 97 0 On the 15th the lines were gone and my BBT was back up to 97 6 On the day that it dropped was that the day I likely ovulated even though the test still showed two double lines or would it have been the day after that when my temp went back up

miscarriage Question Hi i was told on 2/14 i was 7 wks 2dys but had no fetal pole no heartbeat and told i would miscarry I was given medication and nothing happen it is now 2 wks later i spotted here and there and some brown discharge came out when i wipe but no outrages cramps or continuous bleeding My ob says that my body could of absorbed it as well and that i will have to take another ultrasound and see if i still have tissue is that normal for your body to absorb the pregnancy i do not feel comfortable with that I have my u/s tomorrow i am 42yrs old 2nd miscarriage in 7 months

chemical pg? Question had a miscarriage in November waited two cycles before trying to conceive for me they were 28 days apart Jan 14 was my second cylce and was expecting one to be on Feb 11 I had been feeling queasy for a few weeks and had an urgency to go to the bathroom A LOT but thought it was all in my imagination since I want a baby I took a HPT on the 13th it was positive Still not convinced I took another one (same brand) on the 17th it was positive I had a strange dream and queasiness stopped so I took another one on the 22 (same brand); it came back negative I started cramping and bleeding bright red that afternoon no clots or anything just bright red moderate not heavy I went to the doctor b/c I was confused and he said my HCG was 9 and anything under 10 was not pregnant He said it could have been a false positive or a chemical pregnancy It was up to me if I wanted to count this as one I just wanted to know if I should and do I have to wait another cycle before trying again i am still having moderate cramps but the bleeding is minimal

Concieveing again? Question I had a miscarriage 2 23 07 Will be able to concieve again If so how soon The drs said at first the reason I started belled ing was beacuase of me being rh After they give the the rhogam shot I stopped beeing anfd then 4 days later I started right back When I went to the dr on the 4th day they said I was 6 weeks and there was no pulsation in the fetal pole

no period after 2nd D & C Question I had a second D&C January 4 for a missed miscarriage last October (1st D&C was October 18 06) and just last week got an hCG level back of 2 so needless to say I haven't had a period since I became pregnant at the end of July last year I've been reading about herbal teas that can help bring on menstruation is this a good idea I feel really anxious and want to help push things along so we can try again Thank you

thanks Question I just want to say thanks for all your help in answering all my questions I really do appreciate you taking time out to help each of us with our concerns As I said in my last post I started spotting today and went for an ultrasound They didn't see a heartbeat this time so I'm scheduled for a D&C sometime this week For some strange reason I always miscarry at 6 weeks so the drs are finally going to do some tests to see what's wrong Thanks again for all your help

Interpreting HCG Levels Question I have undergone an ICSI test in India The doctor advised a Beta HCG Test on 28 FEB 2007 and I had it done The result was that Beta HCG level is indicated as 10 68 mIU/ml As per the reference range on the report it is to be considered pregnant Even doctor had written that it should be greater than 10 I am positive that I am pregnant However the doctor feels that it should have been atleast 50 mIU/ml I am confused please advise

conceiving Question I'm new to this site and not sure if someone has already asked this question I would like to know if there is a certain time of day that a woman is more likely to conceive (ie morning vs night) Also I would like to know do you recommend having intercourse a lot during ovulation or are certain days better than others
