just turned 31 and that day I had my 2 nd miscarriage I have a 3 years old girl and that pregnancy was fine I had my 1 st miscarriage at 5 5 weeks in August of 2006 this time I was 5 weeks when the bleeding started but it wasn't a big surprise since I did my blood tests a day before on March 8 My cycles are very normal and regular: 27 29 days During February we did a lot of blood tests on different days of my cycle to check my hormones FSH LH Estrodial progesteron TSH Everything was fine except my TSH was 4 2 (but I have none of the symptoms) and I started taking levothyroxine on day 12 of my last cycle (I am on it still for the 2 nd month now and on day 32 it was down to 2 it means medicine helped ) I ovulated on day 13 or 14 (according to LH test) and we didn't hope (because of TSH being a bit high) but we got pregnant that cycle On day 21 my progesteron was 22 and hcg less than 2 On day 32 my progesteron dropped to 19 and hcg was 325 I started getting concerned but my doctor wasn't in the office to respond fast and on day 34 my progesteron dropped more to 3 and hcg to 47 I knew what it meant That day my morning Basal Body Temperature dropped a lot too A few days ago the doctor did HSG and it was normal My OBGYN said that she couldn't help me anymore and sent me to a fertility specialist I did my own research and made a conclusion that I may need Embryo Toxic Factor Test and may be have a high progesteron treatment but the fertility nurses that I called in the area haven't heard of it Do you think that me having high progesteron shots or pills can help Which one is more effective Can this prevent a miscarriage if there is some chromosomal abnormality in the fetus I don't want to fight with natural selection and give birth to a sick child and then infertility After 20 months of TTC my first child I had surgery to drain a cyst on my falopian tube and my doctor flushed my tubes as well I took Clomid (I don't ovulate regulary)the following month and became pregnant I now have a healthy 2 1/2 year old daughter I've been TTC again for over a year I had to have surgery a second time last August for the same reason (this time the cyst was removed) and my doctor flushed my tubes again I took Clomid the following month and became pregnant Then I had a miscarriage at five weeks I took Clomid again in January Feb March so this will be three rounds of Clomid with no pregnancy My question is this: Is it likely that the combination of recently flushed tubes and Clomid is the reason for conceiving This is the only reason I can think of as to why the Clomid worked the first two times but isn't working for me now I'm not insured for infertility at all so I have to be careful about what tests and procedures I have done I'm hoping you and really healthy My first miscarriage occurred last August at 12 weeks It was a missed miscarriage I had a D&C That was my husband's and I's first try to conceive We tried again in January My period was late positive home pregnancy test 3 days later period started Had blood tests to confirm pregnancy and then loss My OBGYN ordered additional blood tests to rule out PCOS Everything came back normal except my thyroid was 5 5 and my prolactin was 27 (I was 2nd day of period) My OBGYN advised me to contact my PCP He ordered additional thyroid tests and everything came back normal No further testing was ordered I have had no other pregnancies My periods are what I consider to be normal Hypothyroidism does run in my family as well as autoimmune disorders but I am otherwise healthy I have miscarried I went on on cd15 for U/S and they found 25 follicles that were around 1 cm They also found a cyst that was around 5cm They are concerned about the cyst but said I can still get pregnant I go in for another U/S on Friday My questions are:Does the cyst prevent the follicles from growing larger I heard they should be atleast 2cm I am cd17 and still have not ovulated is this because of the
