just wanted your opinion I have had two separate cycles of clomid 50mg pregnant both times on second cycle I however ovulate later with clomid than usual on day 19 to 21 The first pregnancy miscarried within the first week Second pregnancy carried till 9 weeks Progesterone level was excellent when they checked it after positive pregnancy with second but still placed me on prometrium as prevenantive measure Have you heard of Clomid causing problems with the luteal phase I understand it's usually given for lpd Does a decreased luteal phase increase chances for miscarriage though progesterone is cervicitis in December that would not go away after 3 weeks of treatment with antibiotics The doctor ended up doing Cryosurgery which got rid of it I probably had it for about 2 months on and off with symptoms and it was painful I found out it was caused by a Staph infection I had gotten because of a small cut I somehow got on my cervix I read that leaving cervicitis untreated can cause PID which can cause infertility What is "untreated" exactly and how long do they consider it to be untreated before it develops into PID I ask this because I had it for about 3 weeks before going and the doctor kept trying antibiotics for 3 weeks that didn't help The only issue I have at all is pain with intercourse still to this day I have it with deep penetration only though and sometimes not at all The doctor has done numerous tests and cultures which come back clear I have also had a laparascopy which showed nothing but 2 ovarian cysts that I had removed What are the chances with this happening that I could have PID and can it be caused by cervicits due to infection (I read that chlamydia and other STDS result in PID but it never said if cervicits from bacteria such as a Staph infection could cause it) My doctor says that the pain is because my bladder has fallen and deep penetration causes me to feel a dull ache I have noticed that it is only when he hits my cervix that I feel a dull ache and my doc told me I don't have an infection of the cervix last week when I went in about it If I had the infection for 2 months is it likely that it spread and caused PID or would it take August of last year It has been almost 1 year now although it seems like just yesterday My husband and I continued on after that having unprotected sex and for 6 months nothing happened Finally I went to the OBGYN after the 7th month and he put me on clomid I also looked up tips for conceiving and noticed that a lot of the things we were doing (having me on top and peeing right after intercourse) could have a negative effect and for the past 4 months have been trying everything with no results I have had 2 ovarian cysts removed in February of this year and a diagnostic laparoscopy for my doctor to get a good view of my tubes and ovaries to see if he saw anything irregular and he said it all looked wonderful I was wondering if a doctor can see blocked tubes through a laparascopy not that I have them but I have never taken that into consideration until now I have had very regular periods (28 days) with ovulation on the 14th day each time (I used OPKS) My temp always dips and I always have the rise 3 days after OV and my cervix always moves back and I have the increased amount of cervical mucus My doctor says everything seems to be perfect he's done day 21 bloodwork which proved I ovulated and my progesterone was a shocking 39 this past month I am still very young (19 going on 20) and don't feel comfortable going to a fertility specialist Do you have any advice for me
