Question i think i am a couple of weeks after ovulation so i am on the lookout for early preg signs one of the things i have noticed is a creamy white watery discharge could this be an early preg sign or is it poss to have this before a period as well i thought i would be quite dry around this time i also have quite tender breasts and some slight cramping have tested neg  but because im not to sure when i ovulated could be testing to early Answer sue 1 371 7/31/07 8:51 pm   Miscarriage, Moving Forward Question Hello After a long time of infertility my husband and I conceived naturally   We credit this to my having previously undiagnosed fibroids removed and many accupuncture treatments   Herbs were never mentioned/offered in our treatments and we don't take anything but a multivitamin I am 38 yo he is 40   Unfortunately we suffered a miscarriage at 8 weeks even though we saw a strong heartbeat and everything seemed to be textbook perfect up to that point except for one thing   My progesterone was borderline and the doctor prescribed Prometrium as a precaution   The Prometrium seemed to be working really well   My doctor thinks the miscarriage might have been due to a random chromosomal error aka bad luck   We will begin to try to concieve again in 6 weeks as our doctor recommended   We are doing all we can right now to prepare for the next pregnancy but I have some questions I am hoping you might be able to help us with: 1   I am continuing my accupuncture   Can accupuncture specifically help with progesterone levels and ovulation or will it just help with things like regulating the cycle and overall fertility health   I am not even sure exactly what "regulating the cycle" means the length   Ovulation   2   I am currently overweight   I am 5' 4" and 230 lbs   I am convinced that my weight is connected to the fibroid issue I had before   Since I had surgery I feel incredibly better and I am not experiencing the impossible cravings I had before   I am not diabetic (and have no other health problems) but I feel like my glucose/insulin are finally stable and I am in control of my eating habits   I eat a healthy diet of organic food but when I had the fibroids I had horrible horrible sugar cravings   I got pregnant so quickly and easily (and unexpectedly) after the surgery that I didn't have time to loose any weight   Would it be a good idea to loose some weight before we try again in 6 weeks or is this going to have a negative effect   Should I not try to concieve at all until I am a particular weight   I ask this because I know excess weight causes excess estrogen production and that affects the whole estrogen/progesterone balance and in my case I had borderline progesterone   I want to do the best thing and carry a healthy baby to term but I also don't want to wait too long as I am 38 and my husband is 40   Unfortunately we had to put off child bearing due to an illness my husband had a few years ago from which he has since fully recovered   We have never had children   My doctor does not seem to really care much about the weight she is just happy to hear that I am eating organic and healthy now without the sweets    She is overweight herself about the same size I am   I'm not sure what to think   I really need some advice with this   Thank you Olivia 0 360 7/30/07 5:20 pm   i had a miscarrige about a month ago.
