pregnancy after ectopic   Question I discovered an ectopic pregnancy in my right tube on 6 21 07 after a routine ultrasound I was 7w5d I had absoulutely no pain or symptoms I underwent surgery immediately I ended having the pregnancy removed from the right tube with no complication Unfortunately my left tube was inflammed and had to be removed Pathology on the tube could not give me any answers as to why ( No cancers or bacteria found) This was my fourth pregnancy and I have 3 healthy children with uneventful pregnancies My question is what are my chances of conceiving another child

young mother and miscarriage Question i am a 20 yr old woman i had recently found out i was pregnant just to find out i may have possibly miscarried already we are both very excited about tryin again i need to know how soon i can begin the act and concieve again worried about miscarrying again this was my first pregnancy and it was an oops so i was on various meds(ex: weightloss pills sleeping pills smoking etc) excited to try soon please get back to me

Low Basal Temperature Question Hi I've been charting for the past month and I've noticed that the temperatures during the first half of my cycle fall between 96 9 97 5 I can't seem to find any charts that have space for temperatures lower than 96 9 I know that these charts should not be read in and of itself but is there an issue with having a low basal temperature and will that affect my ability to conceive Thanks for your help as always

ovilation tests Question i had a miscarriage 7 weeks ago my period is back on schedule as well as ovulation however my ovulation tests show positive for 8 days straight ive tried 2 different types of tests and still positive how can the tests show positive for so many days |

first pregnancy/ first miscarriage. Question My husband and I got pregnant in our 2nd month ttc I saw my OB/GYN at 8 wks 1day to find no heart beat then I saw here again at 9 wks 3 days still nothing I took cytotec to induce cramping and so far have successfully passed most of everything according to my OB/GYN All of this happened within the past week She says I should wait until I have had 1 normal period before trying again Do you think waiting 1 normal period is safe and since I am otherwise heathy and so is my husband how are our chances next time with having a healthy baby I am an RN in an ER and this is still shocking because it is actually happening to me Thanks

Normal cycle? Question I fully miscarried on July 8 natually but have not yet had a cycle I spotted for a day then nothing for 3 days and now cramping and spotting again Is this normal after a miscarriage And will I eventually have a normal cycle

Question Hi I am 47 (almost) and had never been pregnant had given up on it In late June I found I was pregnant (8 weeks) To my great disappointment though not to my surprise I miscarried starting on July 5 passed the embryo a week later I bled moderately for another 10 days with some scanty spotting after I have not yet had a period which doesn't concern me as yet but I wonder about my chances of future pregnancy I always wanted kids but as I said I had just resigned myself to not having them Never expected to get pregnant at my age I know the risk of miscarriage is high for me but dammit (sorry ) my cousin's wife got pregnant at the same age and now has 3 year old twins who are perfect Can I do it too Well not twins but just one baby I know there's no easy answer but any info would be appreciated Thanks

trying again too soon.... Question Hi I had my first MC about 4 weeks ago I did not have a D&C only blood work to determine my hormone level My last blood work was at 12 and my OB did not think it necessary to return for further evaluation My husband and I wanted to jump right back in and try again due to my age and now I am so stressed that I could be pregnant again and it is just too soon for my body It is also too soon for me to take a test to determine if I am but I am having back pain I am a bit freaked out because I had back pain prior to the miscarriage Does the pain mean if I am pregnant I am going to lose the baby I am scared I am going to be so freaked out every time my back hurts going forward in trying to conceive Your thoughts are much appreciated

Pregnancy after a D&E Question I had a D&E on July 11th We only had unprotected sex once on the 25th It's been 4 weeks since the D&E and I haven't started my period yet Is this normal or could I possibly be pregnant Thanks

TTC and worried Question Hi In a nutshell i had a m/c in 7 06 at 5 weeks and then i got pg 11/06 and thought i was 9 weeks but the dr told me the baby was alive so we did a D&C and they confirmed i had a partial mole I had my levels checked for six months and july 15th i got the green light My question is this i am very regular and i'm due for my period today i tested and i'm pregnant however 3 days ago i was having major symptoms (sore breast and hunger same as when i was pg in Dec) but i woke up this morning and all of the symptoms are GONE does this mean i could miscarry i tested today and it still says pg but i wonder if the hormones are decreasing how can i have symptoms so strong and then they just go away please calm me down

Should I have more tests run? Question I have a 3year old son born by c section I had no problem conceiving him (first try) and the pregnancy was perfectly healthy until ending in a c section I started trying for a second child off and on since he was aoubt 16 months I have had 2 official miscarriages although I wonder if I have had more The first one was right away and the second one was at 12 weeks The second miscarriage there was no baby seen in the ultrasound The doctor said I could miscarry naturally but 2 days later I ended up in the E R because I was bleeding too much I ended up with a D C Since then have periodically had cramping on the right side the same feeling as the miscarriages did find out I had a cyst at one time I have had bloodwork done testing coagulation PCOS thyroid hormonal you name it and everything is normal My husband and I tried again this cycle and thought I was pregnant felt like I was showing signs breasts larger But also the same right side pains but they went shooting into to the groin area Then I had twinges on the left and middle then my period came heavier and shorter than normal I wanted to call the doctor but I'm always afraid they are going to blow me off because they didn't see a positive pregnancy test Anyway should I have more tests run like to the sonogram that can tell if you have blockage in your fallopian tube Or should I test for scar tissue from the c section or the D&C

could a sudden stop of prometrium be harmfull Question Hi Victoria I am 14 weeks and 4 days and came off prometrium a few days ago at 13 weeks my doctor told me I could finish the pills I still had I had done so much reading of other people's posts out on the net regarding the side afftects they had when they suddenly stoppen taking prometrium/ progesterone (miscarriage) Is it true that if you suddenly stop taking this supplement you could misscarry I know they say your placenta takes over the production of progesterone at 12 13 weeks How do I know mine already has Or is that just expected in a healthy pregnancy

Genetic Counseling Question Hello Victoria I am 40years old no children and unfortunately 1 misscarriage After 3 years of marriage two years of Fertility Treatments (on/off) my husband and I became pregnant on our own We had not had any fertility treatments for a little over a year and conceived Unfortunately at 8 weeks of pregnancy a lot of bleeding/cramping At an emergency UltraSound I was told that my embryo was measuring 6 weeks and no heart beat HCG levels revealed I was misscarrying Before the misscarriage I was scheduled for genetic counseling due to my age At my follow up appointment (did not have a D&C) my doctor checked my HCG levels down now to 60 from 8 000 She did an ultra sound and a trasvaginal Both revealed that the lining of my uterus was nice and thin thus everything is going fine I figuered I would cancel my Gentic Counseling Appointment but she said to keep it I was too emotional that day to even ask why or ask more questions I have two questions: 1 If all is well and all tests reveal all is well why should I wait 1 or 2 cycles to start again 2 What exactly is covered in genetic counseling If I am not pregnant how can they check for problems p s I have not been able to concentrate and have been trying to stay positive we conceived after all with no medication : ) however I am an emotional roller coaster and on Lexapro 10 mgs right now This website is keeping my sanity : ) THANK YOU

HCG Level after misscarriage Question I had a miscarriaage on July 5 I was only about 4 weeks pregnant and the doctor told me it was most likely just a chemical pregnancy She advised me not to get pregnant the next month I only had sex with my husband once since the miscarriage I fell on July 28th and had an x ray done on my hand The doctor asked if I was pregnant and I said no Three days later I was supposed to go for an MRI and something told me to to take a pregnancy test and to my surprise it was positive I'm very excited but very nervous I will miscarry again I went to my regular doctor since my OBGYN couldn't see me for a few weeks and had my HCG levels taken As of 8/2 my level is 496 My first question is how dangerous is it to receive an x ray this early in pregnancy My second question how can I tell how far along I am if I technically haven't had a period since June 2nd and miscarried on July 5th

What will likely happen? Question I've decided that I want to become a mom I'm on birth control pills because of my irregular periods I've been on the pill for about a year and a half I've never been preganant before My doctor told me that once I decide to become a mom to come back in and see him and we could get things started I have an appointment coming up soon What are some of the things you think he might do for me Will he put me on medication like fertility pills What will likely happen when I go in for my appointment

cycles after m/c Question Hi I had a missed miscarriage and d&c on 6/20 It's almost 7 weeks and I haven't gotten my period although in the last week or so my temp rose so I'm expecting to get my period (hopefully) in the next week to week and a half I'm not sure why my body has taken so long to reset but my question is this: Do you think that my next cycle will go back to my regular 27 29 days or do you think that things could be a little screwy for longer than just this one cycle I will continue charting my temperature but I was just curious what your experience has been I'm very impatient to be able to start ttc again Thanks

Provera Question Hello After bleeding for 3 weeks(1st week was period 2nd and 3rd unexplained) my doctor finally gave me provera to stop the bleeding She told me to take it for 10 days however i forgot to ask her when i could expect a normal period I was supposed to start clomid this month but obviously can't until i have a regular period How many days after the last pill should i have a period Thank you

4w aft a d&c 5pos hpt can I b pregnant Question Hello I m/c at 6wks 4days and had a D&C on jul10 It's almost been 4wks since the D&C I've taken 5HPT and they are all "POSITIVE" the last HPT I took was aug5th I had unprotected sex on jul19th 20th 21st and on jul25th an 26th I spotted alittle on the 23rd and the 24th (just a blimish one time on both days) and since then I've had no bleeding or spotting Can I be PREGNANT so soon after a D&C an why after almost 4wks is the HPTs still reading POSITIVE I've been expecting it to read NEGATIVE so i'll at least know my hormone levels have dropped back down below 5> THX

Miscarriage 6 days ago ~ trying again Question I had a miscarriage approximately 6days ago This is our second attempt at conceiving have a 10 year old daughter (had a miscarriage before conceiving her and I was 34 at the time) and have finally talked husband into having another one Have been on various pain meds (naproxen ultram flexeril skelaxin etc/due to car accident torn knees bulging disks) & anti depressants(Lexapro & Xanax sister died/may mother died/june father diagnosed with cancer now) I have cut out most meds about a week or two ago (before miscarriage thought I was pregnant) but then had a miscarriage Would the meds I was taking have caused the miscarriage Should I go back on them is it safe to conceive while on them (Doctors are not being as helpful as I'd like) I am 44 and my husband is 48 I have been poked & prodded to check ovaries etc and have been told I have the body of a 34yr old (daahh ) my husband is a little overweight but we are both healthy vitamin nuts and against medications due to side effects (do alot of research on net) Your prompt response would be GREATLY appreciated we are desperately trying to conceive naturally as the other methods have too manyside effects on children/babies Thanx (PS Am now only taking 8hr Tylenol)

still confused of possible m/c Question i have gone on the internet and there are cases of women having a miscarriage after taking the anthrax shot i also looked up about ovulation after miscarriage and it said you can ovulate as early as 2 weeks after you miscarry so could i have miscarried and ovulated again and got pregnant again i didnt really understand what you were saying did you basically mean that you think i miscarried a month ago and is that possible for the fetus to stay in me for that long with out coming out really confused

HPT question Question Hi I am 16 dpo I started spotting at 8 dpo and took a HPT the next day which was a dark positive Took another test at 15 dpo with another brand and was positive too But not as dark as the previous one Today at 16 dpo I took the test again it was a lot fainter than the other two Does this indicate that my HCG levels are decreasing and I am going to miscarry

miscarried but got pregnant a week later Question i miscarried on july 5th after only being about 2 1/2 weeks pregnant i went to the doctor on the 12th and they did an ultrasound and said everything looked healthy i had successfully miscarried now i am three weeks pregnant i think i concieved on july 13th what is the chance of me having a healthy conception since it was so fast after my miscarriage

Lots of questions Question I figured I would give you some more information to help you better understand my first question I had a miscarriage begining july 3rd I bled through to July 10th I didn't have to have a D&C because I was only 4 weeks along It has been a month to the date that I had my miscarriage I am 30 years old It took my fiance and I awhile to concieve the first time Even though the doctors (his and mine) have said that we are both healthy and should have no problems conceiving I have a son who is 10 My only child So when I had this miscarriage I took it pretty hard I have a great support sytem though and we cried and talked it out I haven't had a period yet Before I got pregnant though my period were like clockwork On the 19th of every month I have never done ovulation calculating or any of those sorts of things My fiance and I have been having unprotected sex since 2 weeks after miscarrying and I wasn't bleeding anymore We have continued to have unprotected sex We have never had protected sex I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative I have been going pee like crazy this past week My breasts seem to be getting bigger but they are not tender I have gained a couple pounds this last month but I eat like a horse anyways (fast metabolism) When i miscarried I was 119lbs I am now at 126lbs I am 5'6 1/2 used to be athletic until about 6 months ago and life got to crazy Still I have a slim slender build and I eat pretty healthy Could I be pregnant even though I had a negative HPT Or do I have a bladder infection I am not having any pain or burning when I go pee Just going very frequently Thanks for any help and advice that you can give

is that what my miscarrige Question hi its me again sorry to bother you again to update you me and my fiance are still trying and going by our fertility calender but anyways i forgot to mention that i had went to see my mid wife when i still thought i was pregnant and she took blood and gave me a pap smear and i had got the results back from my pap smear it came back abnormal they called it "acus" they checked for hpv but i didnt have it and they wanted me to come back in 12months to get checked again but at that time i had already miscarried without knowing it so i was thinking maybe my miscarrige done that i tryed looking up what it meant online but couldnt find nothing but yeast infetion stuff is it possible that i developed that because i miscarried or do u think i had that and thats what caused me to miscarry i appreciate any answers you may give thanx a million
