please help   Question ITS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE MY LAST MISCARRIAGE AND I AM SO READY TO HAVE MY NEXT CHILD I HAVE A 3YROLD AND I HAVE BEEN PREGNANT 4 TIMES I HAD TO TAKE PROGESTRONE WITH MY SON UNTIL I WAS 12 WEEKS DUE THAT MY BODY WOULD NOT MAINTAIN A HIGH ENOUGH LEVEL I HAVE DID EVERYTHING MY DOCTOR SAID INCLUDING LOSING WEIGHT AND TAKING METFORMIN AND A BLOOD PRESSURE MED I AM ON CLOMID THAT I TOOK AS PRESCRIBED MY LMP WAS 8 8 07 TOOK THE CLOMID AND DIDN'T EVEN HAVE SIDE EFFECTS WE CAREFULLY PLANED SEX EVERY OTHER DAY AS TOLD BUT NOW 8 28 I AM HAVING SO MUCH DISCOMFORT AND PAIN IN MY LOWER BACK AND STOMACH NO NAUSEA JUST BREAST TENDERNESS AND A WHITE DISCHARGE AND HAVING TO URINATE MORE WHICH ACTUALLY HAS LASTED FOR ALMOST A WEEK COULD THE CLOMID HAD WORK THAT QUICK AND CAN I BE PREGNANT ALREADY I AM SCARED THAT THE PAIN I HAVE IS THE PAIN THAT I HAD WHEN I LOST THE BABY ALMOST LIKE A SHARP RUNNING PAIN IN MY LEGS AND BACK WITH A DISCOMFORT OF CRAMPS IN MY STOMACH I AM SCARED THAT WHEN I GO TO MY APPOINTMENT THAT IT WILL BE TOO LATE IF I AM INDEED PREGNANT WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AND HOW LONG IS IT UNTIL I CAN TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST

Confused! Question I started to get brown discharge and cramping day 10 I have endometrosis but don't usually get these symptom until a few days before my period is due I'm now on day 18 and teh cramping has continued can you give any suggestions to what this might be

OPK Question I have another question stemming from my previous one Is it possible to get extra days of positive results after the initial positive I got a positive on Friday Saturday Sunday Monday and this morning However I read that you can test two times in a day so I did yesterday around 2:30pm after I tested in the morning and the result was negative At any rate we covered all our days for baby making I am just trying to figure out how this works and my cycle please help

pregnant? Question I'm wondering if I'm pregnant or panicked I don't exactly remember the date of my last menstraul cycle however I remember still having it on the 28th of July an it was it's normal heavy self (I usually start menstrating around the 22 24th each month) I have always been irregular and since my son was born (he's almost 1) they've consistently been off a few days here and there Due to being apart more then normal my husband and I only had sex twice in August once around the 5th and once about 1 1/2 weeks ago (no form of birth control other then he "removes himself" when appropriate) I have taken 5 pregnancy tests the last 2 weeks and they are all negative With my son I knew I was pregnant at 3 weeks from how tender my breasts were the 2 weeks prior and after taking 4 negative tests at home had a positive at the OB office At this time my breasts are not sore I haven't gained any weight and I don't have any other symptoms other then no menstration besides being tired ( which I have a 1 year old that doesn't like to nap) and having dull headaches the last few days I do have dull pre menstraul cramps and 2 days ago had thick white mucousy discharge such as during ovulation The OB wont see me till I'm 2 weeks past when I was suppose to menstrate What is the chance that I could just be late or am I most likely pregnant Thanks

Conceiving after MC at 7 weeks Question I have had two miscarriages in four months One in May just a couple days after a positive HPT Now I'm losing my pregnancy at 7 weeks At the US I only measured 5 weeks and no heartbeat found Started MC'g that day I fortunately do not need a D and C and my hcg's will be checked on the 4th and 12th of Sept to make sure everything is moving along I know they recommed waiting a cycle But if we do get pregnant (not that we will be actively trying) will it be safe Or should we abstain from that possibility until after my first cycle Thanks for you help

preg after mc Question i had a child at 17 with no problems we started trying again when i got married it took 2 yrs i had 3 mc and a tubal preg and they had to remove my tube bc it ruptured finally when i was 23 i had another child no complications again and now at 24 i got preg not planning and mc again i had a dnc 7 23 and i took a hpt tonight bc i had not started yet it came back i was wandering if it could be from the mc or if it was a new pregnancy and what are my chances of having another mc and is there any way to determine why it keeps happening and could have me being on the depo shot benn the reason it took 2 yrs to get preg

pregnancy Question I had a miscarriage in August of this year at 8 wks pregnant I took two home tests that were both positive and at the health dept was also positive A week after I went to the health dept I went to the Emergency room because I was bleeding It was not heavy it was like a normal period and my stomach hurt really bad for a couple of days before The E R said I was at high risk for a miscarriage At the time I was two weeks late and have never been late before with my period So the next day I went to the doctor The spent a week doing bloodwork and done an ultra sound but nothing showed up My mom seems to think it was a false prenancy Could this be possible with three possitive tests I just recently took a home pregnancy test that come up possitive I am two weeks late Could I actually be pregnant again or could this be a false alarm too

HCG Levels Question Had a m/c on July 12 was 6 weeks it took 8 weeks for my hcg levels to get back to normal w/o D&C should i consider all the bleeding and cramping over the last month a period and expect to be back on a normal cyle this month is it likly i will ovulate this month 0000

miscarried at 4 months.. Question On july 29 I went through labor and lost my baby boy at 4 months My doctor said that I don't have an incompetent cervix but i was really thinking that I did I never really had many symptoms of labor i had some cramps but it was nothing out of the ordinary on july 28 I went to the bathroom wiped and then there was a gush of fluid and then I actually felt the sac ballooning out of me and then it ruptured all water i started to bleed when i got to the hospital about an hour and a half later i had an ultrasound and my baby was still alive but my membranes were all ruptured there was nothing that they could do for me or my baby I am so scared that it is going to happen again especially because my doctor said that I don't have an incompetent cervix maybe it was just something that happens and there is not one thing that anyone can do but I would really aprreciate your opinnion on this thank you so much Nikki

recent miscarriage, may be pregnant Question On july 18th I had a miscarriage I was 5 weeks I did not do a follow up with an OB and now I am having signs of being pregnant I started spotting on the 13th of this month but it stopped in less than three hours that day the same thing occured every other day after that for almost a week I took a home pregnancy test and it was positive Now I'm wondering if this is a new pregnancy or if it is the baby that supposively lost I think it is a new pregnancy because I had lots of pain before I was told I was having a miscarriage last month This time I am just tired and my breast are very sore If this is a new pregnancy how will I calculate the due date

optimizing fertility post miscarriage Question My story is similar to many others posted here My partner and I got pregnant for the first time in July and I miscarried at eight weeks (HCG levels started okay but then plateaued and then not doubling Found a heartbeat on ultrasound at seven weeks but no heartbeat on ultrasound ten days later) I had a D&C in the doctor's office This is still pretty recent and I have just started the process of healing emotionally physically etc I know there's a recommended waiting period before trying to conceive again I want to use that time to get my body in the best shape possible for next time Do you have any recommendations for what I should do to prepare for pregnancy specifically after miscarriage

pregnant after D&C?? Question I was 25 weeks when I lost my twin boys I had to go through the labor and delivery SIx weeks later I took a pregnancy test and it stated I was pregnant After an ultrasound it became clear that I still had placenta inside my uterus I have to have a D&C and I am wondering when I can start to try and get pregnant again We want a baby badly and I am wondering if we can start trying shortly Thanks for the help

Getting pregnant after a D&C Question I had a D&C done on 08/10/07 My baby stopped developing when I was 6 weeks but I carried until I was 10 weeks I stopped bleeding on 08/17/07 and my husband and I had sex 08/20 08/22 08/23 and 08/25 I went to the doctor yesterday and had a pregnancy test done and my doctor said it was negative which is good because I wanted to make sure my HCG levels were at 0 before getting pregnant again When should I test to see if I'm pregnant I know the test that I took yesterday would have been negative even if I had gotten pregnant one of those days that my husband and I had sex Are you more fertile after having a D&C done My doctor told me that my period should come on by 09/10/07 if I'm not pregnant but I' ve heard that it could take up to 3 months for me to have a period again and before I got pregnant my periods were irregular my period came on every month just maybe a week earlier then it did the month before

another progesterine question Question Victoria I am 51/2 weeks pregnant and started spotting slightly on Monday and got really scared I began taking 1/4 tsp of prog cream per day and the bleeding stopped by the third day I also had my HCG levels checked They were 1800 on Monday 2885 on Wed and I'll find out if they've gotten any higher when I go for more blood work on Friday My doctor is against me taking progesterone and says it could harm the fetus How true is this I actually believe it's helping What do you think I'm going with my gut on this because I"ve already had one miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy this year In fact this is the longest that I've stayed pregnant all year I also went for an ultrasound today and saw a little spot on the screen The technician says that I might not even be five weeks but I'll find out more when I talk to the doctor tomorrow What is your take on all of this Am I hurting my baby by taking 1/4 tsp a day If not how long should I take this Thanks Suzanne

Possible endometriosis? Question Hi there I'm 35 and after trying to concieve for for 18 months I had 2 rounds of clomid which really exacerbated the already pretty bad ovulation back and period pain as well as pain during bowel movements and gas build up at these times and which has gotten worse over the last couple of years What are the next steps regarding treatment I can look forward to I have had scans at ovulation which show no fibroids or cysts only 4 big follicles at a time I have sarcoidosis an auto immune disease and am wondering if all this pain is endometriosis or sperm rejection If it is what are the chances of me concieving and how soon Many thanks

Getting Pregnant after a miscarriage and D&C Question I was recently pregnant and was very ill throughout my preg I was constantly in the ER for severe vomiting I then spotted one day and went into the hospital where they did an ultrasound and said we lost the baby I started having blood clots and really bad cramps after they did a cervical exam and was kind of rough They called it an ACUTE MISCARRIAGE what is that Could it have been prevented Did me being so ill have somehting to do with it I lost 18 ibs withing 2 weeks and was practically ignored by the ER I am on birth control for 3 months so my body can heal from the D&C I always have discharge and before and after this last period ( my 1st one since I've been on B C) I have had some brown light blood and my period only lasted one day is that normal Can I get pregnant again after this Thank You

Ovulation Predictor Kits Question I have a question about OPKs I have been testing this month and was testing in the morning with first morning urine at the same time each day I finally got a positive test on cd20 and continued to get a positive result the next 3 days following I then have been reading that you should test in the afternoon for an accurate result so are my positive results void or will it be fine Is is ok to get a few positive results in a row thank you

Irregular cycle Question Hello I am trying to figure out when the best time to try to conceive is With my first daughter I was pregnant within the 2nd month of trying She's 5 now so that was awhile ago & I am not having as much luck this time I tried to figure out when I was ovulating but cannot pin point it I've always had an irregular period that was flipped I'll be off for one week & on for the rest of the month with a very heavy flow As a result I've been on BC since jr high In prep I've been off BC since April My period seems to be about every other week with flow lasting about 8 10 days (So really it's not actually every other week but isn't constant either) I was thinking of tracking my temp & using an ovulation test kit as it is impossible for me to predict when I'll start my period each time What would you recommend I do Thank you so much

miscarriage Question I just had a miscarriage at 6 weeks (1 1/2 weeks ago) and my Doc did not say anyting about having to wait a cycle to try again I have low progestrone levels and had to supplement when I was pregnant with my son (from 3 weeks until 8 months) She suggested I start treatment to prevent this from happening again because I can't get back in to see her for almost 6 weeks I am curious if the natural progestrone cream would be benefical to start taking What is your opinion on progestrone creams

i've been trying 7 mon Question Hi thanks for your time I have had a kidney treatment for 6 yrs my condition looks serious but i do go to my dr every 3 months He has gotten me off the kidney med since Feb 07(the meds dot make me sterile) me and my husband have been trying and it seems that i dont get pregnant i have a 7 yr old child and he has no kids my 32 yr old husband has had a spermicitis test and everything looks fine i do fine that once we are done having intecourse a day later i discharge and i dont know if its his sperm or really its something else Thanks

pregnancy after a mc Question ok just had a question i had a mc about 2 months ago almost i was 25 weeks it was do to my sugar they say i have had the diabetes with my last child but it was delt with by a diet an c i say it is my docs fault cuz i went to his office a week prior to my mc for blurry vision he said it was normal so i took his advice an went home an a week later i was so sick i called the doc an they just called me some meds in to the store they said it could possibly be morning sicness still so took the meds an next day no betta so made them get me in my sugar was bout 580 an i lost 13 pounds in a week an he did not check the heart beat at all sent me to hospital an i got admited an the er did not check babys heart either an finally they did an no heart beat so had someone else do it an still nothin then got an ultrasound an he had passed an when i talked to the doc an he admitted when i went in for my eyes there was sugar in my urine an did not tell me an weasked him y he didnt check the babys heart an he said he wasnt worried bout the baby so now he said that we could try again we started tryin on 8 17 8 18 an a few other times anit has been about a week an now im havin lil cramps so took a test came out neg should i try in the morning or just wait till i miss my period could i be pregrant i need advice help me plez
