Question Sorry if this is a duplicate tried posting earlier and it didn't work   Turns out I had cervical stenosis I had a rush Laparoscopy on Friday (due to a NICE doctor taking pity on my pain and understanding I start a new job in s afew weeks) Somthing I thought might be wrong from the beginning but it didn't show up on the ultrasounds or CT scans so they thought I had endometriosis   She said there was a lot of old blood trapped in my uterus and it explained the lack of periods infertility and the pain (I had a LEEP about 3 years ago and they took tissue from the cervical canal the theory is BC stopped the periods and didn't resume wnen I stopped because of the blockage She said she 'dialated' my cervix and that should fix this   I am confused I have read some artlicles saying that this only works for a certain period of time and may recur   Can you tell me what the likelyhood of cerical stenosis returning and if it is common how often I would need to be 'dialated'    Would it always need to be a huge big deal like being put completely under and having to miss a week of work like for a laproscopy   (Or is this not needed since they now know what the problem is)   Any feedback you can give me about curing cervical stenosis recurrance and possible procedures I might need I wold really really apprecitate it Thans again for everything P S Oh on a separate note I called the accupuncturist you refered me to who referred me to someone in the East Bay who referred me to two low cost clinics in the East Bay one is for 'students' and the other uses a 'community' room to keep prices down   It hadn't helped with the gyn pain yet but it DID help with numbness in my foot and arm due to a pinched nerve/bulging disks in my neck   Neat     Answer gebbeth 1 302 9/3/07 7:28 am   Turns out I had cervical stenosis... how often will this/can this recurr? appreciated Thanks Answer ERR 1 388 8/30/07 1:37 am   HPT Results Question I'm 32 years old   I had my second MC on July 11th (at 9 weeks) and according to the ER did not require a D&C; bleeding commenced the following day    It continued for about a week and then ceased   I am now on day 51 since the miscarriage and haven't had any bleeding since then   I know that most medical professionals will tell you that it may take that long to start a normal cycle again and not to worry   The HPTs that I've taken have both shown negative results; however with my previous pregnancy I didn't have a positive HPT until day 59 of that cycle (all the other HPTs had shown negative results)   Is this normal   My general practitioner isn't concerned and won't become concerned until another MC   Should an ultrasound and actually got to see my little peanut The heart was beating strong too I spoke to another doctor in my practice and she is having my progesterone level checked so she sent me for a blood test today and put me on 200mg of Prometrium   Can you tell me what you know about this drug And is it true that once you hear a heartbeat your odds of miscarrying go down The doctor said that everything seemed fine and that the prometrium would keep my uterine lining from shedding She also added that if this was an abnormal pregnancy my body would abort it but that it would take longer with prometrium I was just hoping you could give me some insight into some of this You've helped me so much Oh and by the way my ultrasound shows that I'm only 6 weeks and 1 day and therefore my due
