I have a question about naptime and bedtime regarding my 2 year old. He has a lot of energy and he never wants to take a nap or go to bed. At naptime I fight with him for about 3 hours to stay in his bed to take a nap. Same at bedtime. He keeps getting out of bed and I am getting frustrated. I am not sure what to do to get him to go to sleep at naptime and bedtime. Any suggestions? |

With all of their energy, it's very difficult for toddlers to switch from an active mode to sleep mode as easily as we adults can. That's why it's very important to help children transition to nap time or bedtime with calming, soothing activities/rituals that help them relax.
