my girlfriend had her first ultrasound in march,and everything was find,but now she is 29 weeks,but she is measuring 31 weeks.they want to do another ultrasound should we be worried,and if so what could be going on? |

Dear One, warm congratulations on your growing baby. The measurement from the fundus (top of the uterus) to the bottom is done in centimeters and is mother's natures oldest prenatal measurements.....the uterus apprximately corresponds in centimeters to the weeks gestation...however, it is NORMAL to have a range of 2 cm on either side....so you care provider definitely should have assured you that yo....
