low lying placenta

Well hello it is me I have a few more questions, I am 18 weeks now and we got another ultrasound and the baby is still very low covering the cervix. The obgyn put me on pelvic rest again and told me not to worry about it. She said that it is still early and the baby can still move up. Is this true? I am so stressed out and I just can't stop worring about anything the baby, money, bills even food. My obgyn just isn't no help!!!! All I have is knowing that my baby will be okay. Can I still have a late miscarriage? Will I have to have a C-section? Should I be on bed rest? My obgyn just tells me lets not worry about that now!! I thought that I had a right to ask and to know.. PLEASE HELP!!! Carma

Re: low lying placenta

Dear One, I am glad you are writing in and finding your voice.  Here are some strategies.

1) Drink 4-5 mugs of Red Raspberry tea a day, or commercially prepared Pregnancy tea.  This is a uterine tonic.  2) Try Oatstraw tea too.  3) Your mind-body-breath connection is vital.  INVITE the placenta to move away from the cervix.  Invite your body wisdom to move these vibrant, living, fabulous organ tissues to simply transition, move and make room for the baby's head:  journal it, draw it, visualize it, pray it.  Vocal toning will be essential. With one hand on your heart and one hand on your womb, the chant of 'sat nam' is a vital check in.  This needs to be done at least 3 minutes  a day, getting up to 12 mintues a day of primordial tonal work. 3) Get a copy of my cd Prenatal Peace & Calming at www.MontclairMaternity.com and listen to this at least 5 times a week as  a self....
