Vasectomy or tubes tied more less Question I am 36 weeks and I my usband was going to have a vasectomy in 6 months after we have our baby   I was going to have my tubes tied but i heard that it is harder on a woman and you can go into menopause sooner so what are the chances of me getting pregnant if my husband had a vasectomy   What are the chances of me getting pregnant if i got my tubes tied   If i breastfeed are the chances lower of me getting pregnant with no protection   Thanks I hope I'm asking the right person    Its not really about child birth

unsure more less Question I am 38wks My baby has been on my cervix for 5 days now making it pretty uncomfortable I had a sonagram on the day the baby dropped and they couldn't get a pic of my cervix because of the baby being on it   I have told my dr about large babies running in my family the xray tech said that the babys' measurements show a weight of 7#6oz 7#10oz but when I talked to my dr about it he played it down and said that the sonagrams can be wrong up to 2# and that he doubted the baby is that size I just don't want to give birth to an overly large baby can't that cause complications   Now 5 days later I am still uncomfortable and sitting here wondering if my dr has listened to me at all about my feelings   Am I overly concerned about my babys weight   Is it normal for the baby to stay on the cervix for so long                            thnx much  gypsylady

C-Section & Ileus more less Question Hi I just wanted to know the risks involved for my c section coming up I had a c section with my son after failing to progress (he was too big to engage) after 24 hours of induced labor I ended up having an ileus afterwards had tubes and everything for two weeks  Two of the doctors (I go to a military hospital where you have to see whoever is available since whoever is on duty is the one who delivers you) I've seen with this pregnancy really want me to try a VBAC since baby girl is measuring a lot smaller than my son was and one of the doctors thinks that a c section is the best way to go (he happens to be the one on duty for my c section) I don't know who I should agree with I scheduled my c section because I'm so scared of not progressing again and having to do the c section anyways again but I'm so scared of getting an ileus again Could you perhaps shed some light on this
