33 Weeks Pregnant Doctor Concerned That My Stomach Is Too Big more less Question Hi Jill I am 33 weeks pregnant had an appointment with my OB yesterday and he said since our last visit (I was 31 weeks pregnant) my stomach has gone from 31 to 35 Centimeters   He is concerned that the baby is getting too big for me (I am tiny 5'2 )   I am scheduled for an ultra sound on Friday because he wants me to make sure that the baby has enough aminotic fluid What I don't understand is that my weight gain has been minimul 22 pound so far at 33 weeks I always assumed the mother's weight correlated with the amount of weight the baby gained   What could be attributing to the baby's growth Should I be worried about the size of my stomach   Thanks

Post C-Section Complications more less Question I had a c/s almost 8 weeks ago First off I had some trouble b/c my baby was taken to another hospital so I had to leave early and spend 4 days in a waiting room until he was discharged (and doing great now by the way ) Sooooo I overdid it and ended up with a hematoma on the left side of my incision That has since healed I am  having some more complications though I delivered on Dec 3rd and on Dec 24th was getting into the back of my SUV and felt something 'pull' and then immediate pain on the right side deep into my abdomin Ever since then I have had periodic severe pain in that area The incision has healed though still numb I went for my last post op appt and my doc said it may be a cyst but to come back if still hurts in a month Well it is almost a month now and more symptoms have come and more pain After my C/S I had the 'normal' discharge with a particular odor to it the discharge and odor went away about 2 weeks ago but has since returned with a watery very dark color and odor again Also I have the WORST EVER case of hemmeroids (sp ) inside and out that are bleeding and not getting better along with gas and occasional constipation and sometimes diarehea (I have IBS so this isn't usually normal for me)  My stomach and skin are still VERY tender to the touch and still having pain in my abdomin with mostly at night when I am laying down I also am having sharp pains shooting down through my vagina at times as well as dizziness like vertigo and sometimes extreme for a few minutes I do plan on calling my doctor but do not have insurance and still have MANY hospital bills from the delivery etc so I am scared of being put through a bunch of unecessary tests He also wasn't too sure what it could be last time I was there so just wondering if you have any advice for me Thank you Mandi

Problem with my sonogram more less Question Hello this is my first time posting something I am 21 weeks today and my doctor called me to tell me that during the fetal survey (sonogram) done last Friday she found that my baby has only two blood vessels in the umbilical cord instead of three and that the kidneys are dilated they couldn't see the full view of the heart because the baby was moving too much I am sooooo worried  because I researched online and everywhere I look the two vesseled cord is related to Chromosomal Abnormalities or birth defects heart problems central nervous system etc She referred me to a specialist but Im not going untill Monday and I can't find a moments peace Have you had cases such as mine and what should I prepare myself for so that my mind can be put at ease Please respond ASAP It is my first pregnancy and Im freaking out By the way Im 29 and my husband is 39 with no history that we know of chromosomal abnormalities in our families

6 months post pardum more less Question Hi I'm not sure if I'm in the right place but maybe you can help   6 months ago I had my second child   When I went in for my final check up back in April   the Dr who I really respect   said my bladder had significant prolapse   He encouraged me to do my Kegal exercise and talked about future options if it did not get better   I have been doing my excercises and have noticed with sneezing and regular exercise my stress incontinence diminished   About 3 weeks ago I joined a volleyball league   When I jump or make certain movements my stress incontinence is unbelievable   Tonight I soaked a "thin regular" pad  granted the last 5 days I failed to do my exercises because I did not feel well (cold)   Will it take longer than 6 months to fix this problem or do I need to consider other options Thank you for any feedback

Sudden labor pains at 31 weeks more less Question Hi I don't know if you are the right person to ask this to but my Gyno cn't seem to answer my question So her goes I am currently at about 32 weeks due date Nov 16th 2008 my pregnancy is at high risk since the begining due to excessive bleeding at about 5 weeks   This is my 2nd pregnancy (my 1st one was also high risk and had to bee induced at full term was 1 day late to give birth due to never having contractions no water breaking)   I was also diagnosed as Placenta Previa with this pregnancy and as of last week was told that I am no longer placenta previa but I am carring the baby very very low   Now my question is why would I have gotten contractions about 4 min apart and my tummy got really little like a little mountain and got severe labor pains at 32 weeks   I was having breakfast when I suddenly started to feel ill  got super strong increasing menstrual like cramping on my lower back and abdomin (about 2 finger above the pubic area) then had the sudden urge that I felt like pooping I went to lay down called my Dr but never called back  Then my tummy got into a tinly little mountain & i fely like the baby was pushing on my cervix I am not dialated My water didn't break nor leak  No bleeding either  I was just sitting there eating my oatmeal when this happened I was relaxed and had just woken up   I am really sacred because I had also just been 2 days  before in the emergancy room with the same craming pains and I only had 2 contractions very very much apart   Now the scary contraction pains that happened two days ago stated at 10:45am got very together much in time at 11:00am and got intensly horrible immediatley   By the time the paramedics arrived I still had those contrations and they were ready for me to deliver   Once we got to the hospital(with sirens on) about the time they were parking and backing up to the emergency entrance the contractions stopped I was so exhausted I then I passed out   Why is thishappening to me   Since these bizzare contractions happend now my belly is extremely even lower than before it hurts me just to walk from the bed to the bathroom and I have severe throbbing headaches that last for hours   When I pee I can swear that I feel the baby at the opeing Now just so you know I've had UTI's all through and before preganacy I am currently taking cepheliexin for UTI my uti has gone away but I still need to finish ani biotics for just a coule more days  These pains (menstral like cramping) is something I hadn't felt since the last time I had my period which is before I was pregnant   I have had cramping before due to the UTI but that has been on my ovaries especially on the left side   I know what I felt but my Gyno insist that those were not real contractions that I suddenly had   She makes me feel like as if I was exaggerating   I know it is already too late to change Dr 's and she is the 2nd one I get for this pregnancy   Can you help me answer by bizzare episode   Thanks Your Puzzled & Very Much Scared Preganat Person  CONNYS
