my baby girl is only 3 weeks old. since birth, she has had a slight congested noise. i mentioned it at the hospital and they said her lungs were clear, but this doesnt seem to be in the lungs. Her doctors sent me to a Ear nose and throat specialist who ruled out astma but drew no concrete conclusion and thinks "she might just grow out of it". I dont want to take any chances, since its gotten worse since birth. the E.N.T doctor told me to go to the childrens hospital to have a small camera put down her nose to see into her throat. I scheduled their soonest appointment which is A MONTH AWAY! i'm hoping you can give me some insight as to what i should have her seen for in the meantime.
Her difficulty breathing includes loud wheezing, sometimes rapid breathing & she's sounding even more congested, her appetite has decreased and she is yawning frequently as if her body is not getting enough air. sneezing and coughing happens at least 4 times a day. WHAT COULD THIS BE? it just cant be normal |
